Seguin goes to Boston, I think Mark Recchi is going to stay on the Bruins so he will be a great mentor for Seguin...I hope that Gordan kid that got drafted by Dallas gets to play soon, he looks like a promising goal tender.

Scratch that.

To Vancouver: Keith Ballard and Victor Oreskovich
To Florida: Steve Bernier, Michael Grabner, and the 25th pick.

The trade is conditional depending on the 25th pick.

What a stupid trade for Vancouver. I know they were hurting on the blue line last year, but Bernier AND Grabner? Brutal.

They're on number twelve right now. Rangers took Dylan McIlrath.

How long till McIrath dies?

There are still rumours going around Boston that Marc Savard may be traded...which would be stupid, because the Bruins have no powerplay with him gone.

Mr. Hockey Nick Bjugstad goes to Florida. I was more impressed with Brock Nelson (the last American taken in the draft, to set a record) in State this year. That kid gonna be a beast once he's done at ND. I hope Bjugstad does well. His uncle was in the NHL so it runs in the family. I am not familiar with Forbort, but Duluth East is consitantly one of the best programs in the state.

Was shitty to see Fowler go so far down. Does he lose a bonus for falling that far?

Meant last American to go in the first round. That is an American record for 11.

I was watching a little bit of the second round of the draft and Florida is going to have alot of decent talented players if they get their coaching in order...Aside from that I have been to a Panthers game, mind you the arena is out in the middle of nowhere and the fans well there were more Bruins fans at the game then Panthers fans...Anyway one can only tell how this season will turn out.

Tampa had 3 3rd round picks. all Dmen.

Adam Janosik, Radko Gudas, and my personal favorite name of the draft Brock Buekeboom, son of former NHLer Jeff Buekeboom

If he's anything like his dad, ya got a good one there Maus. One of my favorite players from the early 90's.

Seems like the Flyers are going to land Nabokov.

Why did the Bruins trade Vladmir Sbotka?, for some defensemen over in St. Louis that I have never heard of...this Cam Neely regime is starting to frighten me a bit, but hey they traded Wideman and they need a defenseman to replace him...anyway let's see if they deal out Marc Savard and Tim Thomas.

On a plus side amongst the Savard and Thomas trade rumours, the Bruins did resign Mark Recchi for another year.

hearing more and more that Tampa is interested in Chris Mason. that would be a good goalie pick up.

That depends on which Mason shows up. :2 cents:

hopefully if we get him the one from this past season:

61 games played, 30-22-8, SV% .913, GAA 2.53. not too shabby for being on a team with little scoring help for him.

Just hope you don't get the Mason that was at the World Championship. :pukey:
