Artyukhin, McGrattan, Ivanans and Boogaard are all UFAs. i'd love to have one of them in Tampa but a big enforcer probably isn't going to fit the new team's dynamic.

There is a rumour that Tampa is going to trade Ryan malone ... I'm not sure how I feel about this , I like malone a lot but he has underachieved last season , he started on a hot streak for the first half but he was awful during the second half. Before moving him, I would trade Meszaros though.

I am a failure to the Korean side of my ******
Montreal picked up Nashville goalie Ellis and sent Sergi Koistetsen over to the Preds...Also I think Mike Madano resigned with Dallas but I could be wrong...wow over 20 yrs with the same team, that is impressive!

first i heard we were going to trade him for Halak. then i heard it would be Kaberle. i don't know if it's true or not, but i'm on the fence. he's definitely easier to move than Meszaros is. the old owners really screwed this team for a while with all these large contracts.

I agree totally they should not move malone they should move meszaros malone did have a very good first half and did kind of disappear in the second half but meszaros has never seem to fit into the system here they need to trade him and sign ****** and lundin.

I agree about the owners too now we cant go and sign anyone because they guys got such big contracts and remember this is the last year of stamkos entry level contract and I would love to see them resign st. louis after his contract is up after this year. I beleive that mason would be a good goalie here niittymaki is not a starting goaltender but a reliable backup ans smith has been right since his concussion thanx to the fucking capitals. I excited to see who yzerman gets as free agents and going take a couple years to get this team back on track.

it'd be hard to move Meszaros because of his play and contract. we're pretty much stuck with him so i hope he picks it up next season. he probably wouldn't be so mediocre if our defense as a whole wasn't so mediocre.

Lundin has been offered a new contract but ****** is probably gone. Kurtis was VERY efficient one the power play with Stammer and Marty but his defensive numbers weren't great.

Yzerman said he is determined to re-sign St.Louis and there's no way in hell we're going to let Stamkos leave.

i don't expect a lot of UFAs coming to TB, again, because of a few of the current rosters' salaries. we just don't have the cap space for many new players.

and as far as goalies go, whoever we sign will have to be about $2,000,000 or less which pretty much rules out Nabokov, Thomas, Turco, etc. Mason turned down a 3 million offer from St. Louis so he'll have to take a pay cut if he comes to TB.

Ethan Moreau to the Blue Jackets:

He was a great captain for us (the Oilers) and a great leader who worked hard every shift, but his tenure with us should have ended and I'm glad it did. He's just not a useful player anymore.

And Patrick O'Sullivan has been traded to the Phoenix Coyotes for Jim Vandermeer:

Thank god we're done with O'Sullivan (although I will miss saying Patty O in my Irish accent when he does something good, which is rare to never). I doubt Vandermeer will hit three posts per game and sport a minus-35 rating, so I'm good with this move.

Yeah those guys where beyond a shadow of a doubt the worst owners ever.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Rod Brind'Amour retired and took a job with the Canes organization. What a great team guy. He will never get to the Hall of Fame, but he did more for that team than will be measured by stats.

also hearing Marty St. Louis to sign a 4 year contract extension. he must be happy with the way things are progressing and that is certainly great news for us.

I guarantee he makes the Hall of Fame. Lesser players have a hundred times over.

His career numbers more than justify it, he was a captain and a leader, and he won a Stanley Cup. Believe me, he'll make it in.
