NFL '10/'11 Season Thread.

^Oh okay, I get it now. I didn't even watch Chris Berman until 2004, so I wouldn't know anyway. I started watching in 2002, so I don't know a whole lot about before realignment.

And do you guys think that 2010 will be a repeat of the flag-fest that 2009 was? I honestly think it will be now that we have even more new rules to deal with.

well maybe we will see more flags but with the umpire moving behind the offensive line the line judges are going to have to be alert on d-line and linebacker penalties besides watching the recivers i bet penalties will be missed

For your dose of daily gossip buried in Peter King’s Sports Illustrated column today, Brett Favre is back in the “news.”

King reports the Vikings quarterback told an unnamed NFL player, “I’m 100 percent positive I’ll never put on pads again in my life.”

One other nugget to keep in mind: Favre, who was the New York Jets' QB for the duration of the 2008 season, said he'd retire, and that news came after a tough loss to Miami to end the Jets' season.

Favre has said publicly that he’s undecided on the upcoming season, but that doesn’t mean random NFL players can’t add their two cents — and here's the first deposit.

Hmmm.

Man, Fucking Adam 'Pacman' Jones is going to sign with the Bengals. I love the NFL, but talk about some fucked up practices. They give a thug like Pacman 50 billion chances to do the right thing all the while tossing money at him like it actually does grow on trees, yet the ridicule a guy like Myron Rolle and essentially ass rape his draft stock because he went to get his master's degree at Oxford University in England after completing is pre-med bachelor program in 2 1/2 years with a 3.75 gpa . I am all for second chances but man, this shit just baffles me.

Hey Bearded

I agree with you I think Pacman Jones is a piece of shit and doesnt deserve to play football

he was on pros vs joes i seen somejoes kick his ass

he is a waste of a human being let alone a football player

Russell is released today, he was the first of the draft of 07.I'm gonna call him super bust.Lol

So which of the newly drafted 1st round rookies will be the last to holdout with contract negotiations?

I'm going with Dez Bryant. :thefinger

I could see Eric Berry having a long contract negotiation process....the Titans are stingy!

One of quite a few good moves by the Raiders front office. They must have tied up, gagged, and threw Al Davis' corpse into the celler. Al Davis has single-handedly sunk this franchise into the ground over the last decade. It's about time they dumped JaWalrus "Pay Me" Russell's ass. Maybe there is hope....Nah Al's not dead yet.

I thought Eric Berry was on the Chiefs?

Oh, and bye bye JaMarcus. You did manage to get one thing done in your career and that was surpassing this dousche as the biggest draft bust in NFL history.

Yeah, he seems like the ego kind of guy to me.

And I guess now we're going to see Jason Campbell start for the Raiders?

depends on Gardkowskis injury but he and Campbell are fighting to start.
nice inditement of Rusell i saw elsewhere is that he looks like football isnt important to him. i wonder if someone will try to develop him since he is only 24
