NBA '09/'10 Season Thread

i honestly think the cavs are in trouble with the celtics.
boston as out played them on both sides of the ball the only reason lebron im sorry i mean the cavs wom game one was cus of the refs.

Someone should call the cops because those Hawks just got raped. Bad. 21 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters?? Orlando is scary.

L.A goes up 2-0 on Utah. :D

My God, Orlando cremated Atlanta. The final score doesn't do it justice. It's not too often you're doubling up your opponent at the end of the 3rd quarter. Can you imagine a Magic/Celtics series with the way those two are playing defense? The average score'll be 83-77.

Btw the Lakers remind me of the Heat and Pistons a few years back, when they'd turn it on when they felt like it.

I checked the score on my phone and it was 111-66 or something like that. I thought it was updating wrong, then got home to see the highlights and it was brutal. :1orglaugh Atlanta did just come off a game 7 though. Games will be closer, but I still see Orlando putting them away in 5 max.

I hate when the Lakers play like they think they can turn it on at will. This is the playoffs. Keep that shit on. They finally took advantage of their size tonight though. Bynum and Gasol dominated the paint today. Kobe dished the rock well and shot well. They're hard to beat when they do that.

Kobe Bryant is on the NBA all-defensive first team for the fifth straight year.

Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo made the first team for the first time, earning the second-most points behind the league's defensive player of the year, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard.

Charlotte Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace also made the team for the first time, with the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James making it for the second straight year.

The league's coaches vote on the team.

The second team consists of San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan, guards Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and Thabo Sefolosha of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and forwards Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and Anderson Varejao of the Cavaliers.

Solid picks IMO.

Orlando is sick. I think they will sweep the Hawks.

I thought LeBron was faking his injury because he's pretty much an attention whore. If he has actually sprained it, he won't be able to dominate, and it's :wave2: to the Cavs. Maybe LeBron doesn't want to win a ring this season because how the hell could he leave the Cavs AFTER they won a championship for the bright lights of Manhattan?

I think it's MORE likely he leaves if they win the title. For two reasons. One, since he'd have one, he can take the chance of leaving and never getting another opportunity again, knowing he'd always have that one in the bag. Two, since it'd be mission accomplished in Cleveland, he may want a new challenge, and the Knicks (Or Clippers or Nets) would represent that ultimate challenge.

I think Lebron is faking the injury so he has an excuse if his team gets ousted.

i agree i see that alot wasnt it the year the lakers lost to the celtics it was kobes pinky finger or something
now lebron (and i cant say cavs cus if you listenting to people talk it is only lebron ) is getting outplayed by boston he needs an excuse as to why

its cute listening to everyone talking about the hawks tonight everyone seems shocked there winning . it wont last tho

good game its pretty close right now 86 88 orlando lead alot better then game one

wtf boston took a beating after controlling the first two games sure they lost the first game but they outplayed the cavs the refs won game one and boston controlled game 2 so boston goes home and forgets they are suppose to win

poor LeBron......it was easy to see his shoulder was troubling him

:1orglaugh

Suns are up 3-0 on the Spurs. Looks like they'll finally get that monkey off their back. Too bad they'll have to play the Lakeshow.

if lebron wins this series he will be a hero cus of his elbow if he looses thats his excuse.
i personally hope to see the celtics eliminate that whine baby before the finals .
win lose or draw i will be very suprise to see him come back to clevend next year.

go suns it would be so bad to see the suns in the nba finals but i dont think there d is good enough to stop the weapons in LA

some one call 911 cus the hawks are getting the crap kicked out of them again
man orlando is the team to beat i dont care about the lakers or cavs no one is playing this good NO ONE

Remember last year when Cleveland swept the first two rounds and then got stomped by Orlando? I bet Orlando remembers. Let's hope they aren't peaking against the crap teams and choke against the real contenders. (Unless it's the Lakers) :)

L.A up 3-0 on the Jazz. Impressive road win against one of the best home teams in the league, although Artest almost threw it away. Literally.

L.A/Phoenix
Orlando/Cleveland

Nobody is coming back from 3-0 this year.

Boston ties it up with Cleveland at 2-2. Rondo had one of the best performances in Celtic history. Anybody see his stat line? 29 points. 18 rebounds. 13 assists. 2 steals. Is he the best PG in the NBA?

Suns sweep the Spurs. I wonder if this playoff run will help them persuade Amare to stay in Phoenix???
