NBA '09/'10 Season Thread

Now we're up 28 at the start of the 4th. Game over. Why can't we play like this on the road?? We had the best road record in the league last year.

Oh you're wrong my friend.

Thank God!

They picked a very good time to play their best game of the year. Great energy throughout, stuck with their game plan. How they can look like two so completely different teams 3 days apart is pretty baffling - I suppose motivation has a whole lot to with it.
Now the question is, can they sustain that momentum, or will they get caught jacking off again in game 6?

If they played like that every game, they would probably sweep their way to the Finals. I'm amazed at that performance last night. Gasol/Bynum dominated inside with easy buckets and didn't allow anything on the defensive end. Bryant, only had 13 points and 7 assists, but his D made Westbrook look like a summer league player. Even Artest shaved off the silly haircut and played some serious D on Durant, only allowing 17 points. Kobe/Artest is a fierce defensive duo. If they do that, and let the bigs carry the offense and clog the lanes...unbeatable.

The Bucks beat the Hawks again. 3 straight and lead the series 3-2 going back to Milwaukee. Without Bogut. WTF is going on??

sorry but this series make me:sleep:

I'm enjoying that series. I'd like to see some lower seeds move on instead of seeds 1-4 winning. (Except at the expense of the Lakers)

Besides, Brandon Jennings is playing awesome. I love watching that kid play.

Tyreke Evans is names Rookie of the Year. Deservedly so.

Evans became the fourth rookie ever to average at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists per game, joining Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan and LeBron James in an exclusive club.

That is some exclusive company.

Spurs eliminate Mavs tonight and Suns eliminate Blazers.

We are all going to be blessed with another Phoenix/San Antonio match up. This will be a great series.

usually someone gets there nose broke in the series but manu already does
this is the must burtal matchup of the playoffs so far i cant wait to see it

Lakers close it out. What an intense game. Thunder will be back. And better. Watch out for them next year.

Bring on Utah. Yikes. Hopefully their injuries slow down their game.

In other news, Chris Bosh is asking his fans, via Twitter, where to go next year.

Bosh tweeted this question today:

"Been wanting to ask. Where should I go next season and why?"

About a half-hour later, he followed up with this:

"Ok ... Let me rephrase the question. Should I stay or should I go?"

Sounds like he's already made up his mind and tried to correct himself. Sorry Toronto, another superstar leaves again.

CHAMPS must take care of the jazz in five no time for playing around:glugglug:

BTW is there any chance bosh could go to the thunder:confused: all the thunder need is a good center then the CHAMPS and the rest of the NBA will have a "damn good" young team to deal with...:2 cents:

and what good fans OKC has and good coach too not often u see phil show respect to the other coach:wave2:

Don't give them any ideas. Let's keep the super teams in the East. :1orglaugh

Seriously though. I could see in Durant's eyes that he won't let something like this happen again. And Westbrook was only in his second year. Harden in his first. Durant and Green in their 3rd year. This team is so young and so good. If they get a guy like Bosh, Boozer or Staudamire...I can see Dynasty.

i will admit i cried alittle on the inside when denver was elminated .

on the top side nothing in the west stands in the way of the lakers going back to the finals but utah if and when they beat them is the test for the lakers neither the spurs or suns will get the job done.

cavs and celtics would of been a good series but i think boston is too damn old to keep up with the cavs

Yup. A lot of people are calling for a Boston upset, but there is no way that happens. Cleveland in 5. And they'll matchup with Orlando, just like we all knew at the beginning of the season.

man boston looks petty damn good with rondo leading the charge 2night.
i honestly feel it cavs loose to boston or fail to get to the nba finals i dont care how much money the cavs throw at lebron he will leave during the off season
