He's probably learned not to run his mouth until his boy has won something other than MVP's. :1orglaugh He's just a bandwagon fan anyway. He'll be a Knicks fan or a fan of wherever Lebron goes next year.

All the Cav's players are sooooooo cocky it's ridiculous. I hope Lebron leaves this summer so they can all realize they are a sub .500 team. We'll see how much dancing they do on the sidelines then. No class. I hope Orlando wipes the floor with them. There's a team I respect. Besides Carter. :thefinger

Atlanta eliminated Milwaukee today. Big score. 95-74. It was only a matter of time IMO. Without Bogut, They didn't have a chance in the long run. Hopefully they can build on this though. We need more small market teams having success.

L.A squeeked by Utah. Actually had to come back in the 4th after giving up an 11 point lead. I can see this series going 7.

new predictions
Lakers in 7 over jazz
Spurs in 6 over the suns

east
cavs in 6 over celtics
and Magic over hawks in 6

Atlanta needed 7 to beat the Redd and Bogut-less Bucks. The Magic swept the Bobcats, who, come on, despite their seeds, are better than the Bucks without those players. And we won 3 of 4 (including 1 in Atlanta in the 2nd game of a doubleheader), and lost the one at the buzzer in Atlanta. Sounds like a short series to me.

Yup.

Boston is laying the wood to Cleveland right now. 91-66 with 8 minutes remaining in the 4th. I think that's game.

Home court is a big part of Cleveland's game. I wonder how they'll respond in the Garden?

San Antonio/Phoenix starts tonight. Pumped for that!!!

I stand corrected.

91-80. Boston hasn't scored in 5 minutes. I'm not watching the game. I wonder how much help the Cavs are getting from the refs.

The Cavs and Lakers have been underwhelming thus far for me so far. I know Phoenix has their troubles with the Spurs, but I don't see them losing that series. I think whomever wins Game 2 will end up winning the series. And I know y'all will think I'm biased, but I feel Orlando is the favorite to win it all.

I don't think there is any bias in that statement at all. Orlando had the 2nd best record. They quietly go about their game while Lebron and Kobe get all the spotlight. It's refreshing actually.

Assuming the Magic beat the Hawks, (probably a sweep) who would you prefer to face in the conference finals? Or the Finals?

Boston, Phoenix. I'd rather not play LeBron or Kobe. Utah doesn't lose at home. That's dangerous in a 2-3-2 format. Phoenix has no chance in hell of keeping all of our shooters in check. Though for some reason Amare always kills us.

I've always thought the 2-3-2 format favours the lower seed. I like the 2-2-1-1-1 format much better.

PHX is such a wild card. They can run you off the floor in a heartbeat, and other times they'll totally forget to play an D whatsoever. (Not that their D is any good to begin with)

If Utah wins a road game, in any series, that could be the series. They're too good at home. It's crazy how different of a team they can be.

San Antonio...meh. I don't think they have another title in them. Time to rebuild around George Hill and Dejuan Blair IMO.

Lakers. Most frustrating team in the playoffs. Best starting 5, but no bench and no killer instinct.

Cavs. Still the Lebron show. Someone please beat them.

Celtics. They're playing better than I thought they would. The series should be 2-0 Boston if it wasn't for Lebron getting all the calls in game 1. I hope they beat Cleveland and get whooped by the Magic. I hate the Celtics.

Magic. Probably the most well rounded team in the league. An inside/out game. Deadly shooters and killer defenders.

If I had to choose, I'd want the Lakers to play Phoenix and then Boston. But I think Orlando is coming out of the East again.

I hate the Celtics.

Yes!
So much so that "I hate the Celtics" is going to be inscribed on my tombstone!

You're right. The 2-3-2 format totally sucks.
The higher seeded team has earned and deserves the advantage of the 2-2-1-1-1 format!

my lord david stern did everything but give lebron a blowjob during the mvp interdocution
