my dogs only eat holistic foods. I occasionally give them a french fry but I eat that shit like 2 or 3 times a year so it isn't an issue. The treats are greenies or holistic treats by Wellness.

I rescued Skip from the humane society the day before he was to be put down back in December of 2004. he was 1 1/2 at the time so I didn't have to train him. he never made a mess in the house once and was almost human in the way he could understand things I said. very very smart. I also have a female jack russell names Nikki that I rescued when she was 5 months back in 2005. I know the breed very well and love them for all their quirks. They are great dogs who are so smart and very loyal. they are very dominant so you have to make sure they know who's boss which I do, for the most part :)

so far he's been really good. typical puppy stuff but he's very smart and has figured out so many things already. my 11 year old Brussels Griffon HATES him lol

I know that a lot of people hate to throw food away but also don't wanna eat the same thing 2 days in a row. Leftovers are a challenge sometimes but well worth the effort if you plan a little bit!
I always think ahead when I cook for a few people, making sure to leave some leftovers for the next day that I can turn into something totally different. Try this one with the goodies in your fridge!
What You'll Need:
Ziti Noodles
Spicy Italian Sausage
Mozzarella
Pomodoro Sauce
Mushrooms
Onion
Garlic

So good and even better frozen overnight!!

he's adorable and surprisingly well behaved for a puppy. he's wild yes, but no accidents in the house and hasn't destroyed anything valuable and he sleeps all night in his crate without a peep! puppies always scream and cry all night but he loves his crate so I lucked out! :)

new pics to come soon :)

I LOVE leftovers! I rarely eat them as they are, but instead I make them into something bigger and better! I had my girls over for TV night and made them tacos and I always save some of the ground beef for the next day. So when I found an open bag of Rigatoni noodles in my pantry
I had a great idea and this is the result! And the best part, with the leftovers from this you can put it in a baking dish the next day and bake it for 20 minutes and it gets even better!
What You'll Need:
1 lb ground beef
Rigatoni noodles
garlic
cherry tomatoes
goat cheese
parsley
Pepper

It's really this simple!!!

here's a sneak peek at a few things I've filmed this week!

Curacao burger...its a burger with camembert cheese melted, red onion and mayo topped with slices of cucumber all on a fresh made onion roll. Incredible! I had something like it in curacao so I made my own version!

My friend went fishing and brought me a fresh grouper that was gorgeous! So i fried it in some olive oil, (no breading!) added some lime juice and cilantro to finish it in the sauce pan I made some lime sour cream and spread it on a spinach wrap and laid some baby spinach leaves, the red onion, some cilantro and the grouper on top. spread some home made salsa and squeezed more lime and wrapped it up! awesome!

I have spent a pretty good amount of time in the Caribbean in recent years, from the British islands to the Dutch islands of Aruba and Curacao and I have fallen in Love with their foods. The spices and the tecniques are awesome and this is one of my favorites! I was sailing from Bonaire to Curacao and we stopped at this island where a few of the guides on the boat dove for our lunch. They came back
with 5 or 6 Lion fish and cooked them over a fire with some lime and made coconut rice. Clearly I can't get lion fish too easily so I substituted shrimp instead.
What You'll Need:
Shrimp
Shredded Coconut
Lime Juice

So simple and bursting with flavors!
