Going back to when you were in Maine, I remember my first visit to New England to spend some vacation time with some new friends. They lived just outside of Kennebunkport and took us to a restaurant there before we even saw their house and unpacked our bags. I was told to get the fish chowder. The bowl had so much fish it was a meal in itself. All kinds of fish and shellfish chunks with few potatoes for filler. I had to have another bowl it was so fucking good. George H. Bush has a house there. He lives on an a compound jetted out way into the Atlantic and can be found walking through town often. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be that chowder.

I love to roast and cook fruit. I also love to find different ways to heat it up and bring out the natural sugars in it. Of course butter is always a great solution for that! Add some rum to it and you've got yourself a panty-dropper! I sautee the pineapple in the butter than add a shot of spiced dark rum and flambe it a bit. Then put the pineapple in a glass and top with a scoop of mascarpone cheese and toasted chopped walnuts. pour a little of the buttered rum sauce over it and hold on because your toes are gonna curl and your eyes are gonna roll back in your head!
What you'll need:
chopped pineapple
1 stick of butter
1 shot of spiced dark rum
1 scoop of mascarpone cheese
1 teaspoon of chopped toasted walnuts

My Jack Russell Skip has cancer and is in his final days which breaks my heart. the sweetest dog with a great personality. He loves rides on the boat and always loves it when we see Dolphins. So yesterday morning I took my boat to my new house for the first time and brought him with me. I had my neighbor drive since he knows the water and there's a tricky spot with oyster beds. Just as we entered the channel a family of Dolphins with a very young baby came right up to us and swam around and under the boat all the way to my dock!
Here's a video we shot. My gopro ran out of battery so I didn't get the part as we pulled up to my dock they swam under the boat and splashed us with their tails. it was so amazing almost as if they were saying "see ya later" or something. Skip had a great time and perked up more than I've seen him in a while. Just thought I'd share this with you guys.

Aww, sorry to hear about puppy. We just got bad news about our cat...he could have canceer. This year just needs to be fucking over.
