They can be added to any cheesy or creamy sauces. Cabbage and kraut too.
Chuck them in the bin and buy some fennel seeds instead.
Your assumption that I don't have fennel is misguided.

Ok, so I´m not a very frequent contributor to this thread, but here goes.
Today we were extremely lazy so we wanted something that was quick but still tasty, I mean, come on, it is a Saturday after all.
The problem we have is that I´m on a diet, I´m working out a lot to get myself in to shape, but I´m trying to stay away from anything excessively fat.
So our solution was this:
Take some lean turkey breast, fry it up.
Drop a bunch of red grapes in the oven after sprinkling them with a bit of oil and fresh thyme.
Make sure to oven fry potatoes together with the grapes (my one concession to unhealthy living
).
Combine the three, in our case we added some sweet corn as well.

I know, I managed to pull myself away from all the bloody project management and get back to the board for once!
And no, I made sure to test them properly, I may have eaten about half a kilo of red grapes before my dear Sandra informed me that I had to leave some over for the dinner.
Also, havent you seen my new title?

I've been on an Irish pub food kick the last week. I made a bone-in lamb shoulder with mint dumplings the other day and an Irish stew with soda bread. I'm going to make some rarebit tomorrow or th day after.
