Look for yourself www.glennbeck.com. Glenn Beck, Keith Oberman, Rachel Madow, Sean Hannity etc..... are political commentators nothing more. Do people believe in what they say yes but people also believe in what Jon Steward and Steven Colbert say also. They are basicly commentating on the current events and giving THEIR opinions on the subject. Same can be said about sports analysis, they are giving thier opinion on the matter at hand.

There is a mounatain of stuff from Glenn beck on his website and on Fox's website, it's your choice if you don't want to look their.

Just because Beck never went to college does not make him stupid as you so put it. I would bet that a majority of the people that post on this website have zero to little college education IMO. Guess they are stupid as well.:D

And who is this Alexandra Pipe person, I can't seem to find anything on the internet about her?

I have to agree with your posting. People bitch about the Fox commentators but I think Jon Stewart is more annoying personally. I like Sean Hannity. I also think it is funny Obama thinks Hannity watches him all the time. He is paranoid.

I guess it just depends on your political viewpoint. Any reasonably objective person who watches or listens to 10 seconds of Hannity pretty much can identify one thing...he's obsessed with Obama or obsessed with the notion of taking him down politically....almost clinically so IMO.

Sorta like how Oberman was obsessed with bush and taking him down

Could have been...but find the factual inaccuracy or misrepresentation of what Obermann contended with Bush.

I'm not opposed to someone being politically against a politician. But when you bend over backwards time and time again to knowingly create fictions and misrepresentations....that is a clinical circumstance IMO.

True, but it is also part of his gimmick.

Also hannity has won numerous awards the beck would dream to have.

I assume you meant Olbermann. If you do, I doubt Olbermann or anyone with a modicum of integrity would want to win awards based on being a "gimmick", liar and wholesale misrepresenter of facts. At least I know I wouldn't....

Well he is just going after the big dog, like some many other political pundits did a few months ago. I am sure he will swich his gimmick in another 3 years

I'd say PBS are the closest ones to having no agenda.

From Beck to Stewart, they all try to slight the other side. Beck may be more facile but Stewart is just as childish and hides it behind the protection of satire.

Again, I personally don't care what agenda or political stripe..whether satire or otherwise...just don't lie and misrepresent the facts.

FARRRR too many kooks who are in the so called "mainstream" of GOPer politics serially lie and misrepresent the facts. Which makes you wonder....

You can misrepresent the facts without lying. All you need is a bias and as far as I can tell all the major networks are privately financed. Public funding 'should' take that out of the equation. PBS.

Uh, I know that. That's why I said "lie and misrepresent" the facts as opposed to lie by misrepresenting the facts.

Yeah, I get you fella. You're preaching to the converted here. Other people are allowed to speak their mind too you know.

Beck is stupid because of what he says and does. No amount of education can fix stupid. Being stupid is a choice.

Wow Hot, Stupid is as stupid does. Thanks for pointing that out.

The only news program that pointed out what is actually in the House's 4 different health care planns was Fox. Not the Clinton News Network or the other in the O tank networks would report what is in the bill until forced to.

The same with Cap and tax. Only Fox would report the massive tax increases it would bring. The cap and trade will not fix the so called CO2 problem, it only collects tax on it to spend whereever congress wants to. (my take on global warming is that no man can tell for sure that the earth is warming due to man or nature, or cooling due to man or nature. The only one that knows that for sure is the deity. But, clean water and clean air are good things, correct?)

The same with the First Stimi bill. Fox pointed out the Billions of waste, not actual stimi aimed spending before the others would report on it.

It is only Beck that continues to investigate into what ACORN is doing with our tax dollars. Remember the videoed black panther voter intimidation at the polls last November the the AG dropped the investigation on?

The assessment that the other networks split the viewers and there is only one Fox to gather all the conserv ratings, but what about Fox gaining ratings every week while the other networks are loosing viewers cumilative every week?

Obermann, Madow? Come on. They are as big of a baffoon as Beck is.

Hannity has openly admitted that he does not like O. So what? A lot of people did not like Lincoln, Nixon, Reagon, Carter, Clinton, Bush 1, Bush 2.

I do not dislike O. I think he is one of the top 5 orators in the last 100 years. I think he would be a fine neighbor to live beside, play sports with, work on a buddys garage with. Chill and drink a beer while watching a game on the tube with. He has manners and grace. His wife and children are attractive and have personalities. He has a Prince-like charm that brings admiration to the US. I just do not like his socialistic policies, thats all.

Blast away haters and denyers. :fight:

While we're talking about the lack of education of Glenn Beck, is now the time to bring up the fact that Hannity is a twice over college dropout? Rachel Maddow--hmm let's look at her resume--a degree in Public Policy from Stanford and a PhD from Oxford...

Who is more qualified to host a political talkshow out of those 3?

Seems to me that Obama is just as obsessed with Hannity and Fox News. :2 cents:

Makes sense....the president of the US and leader of the free world...who's just inherited one of the worst economies the country has ever seen, two wars...is responsible for a SCOTUS nomination, trying to historically reform a system which is bankrupting the country, keeping a pig flu at bay, closing GiTMO, meeting with foreign heads of states, making time for his wife and two young daughters and on and on and on....it absolutely makes sense that the first and last thing this man thinks about daily is some whiny little puss at a tabloid who can string a fact together with a sentence.

Yep....sure does make sense....about as much sense as some douche in Cleveland racing down and outrunning Mustangs in his parent's minivan. (If you don't get that part....don't worry about it's sort of an inside joke.)

Really. Fighting a war on two fronts. Sitting atop an economy in freefall. Watching the death spasms of the auto industry. Trying to put together a coalition to begin to address the environment. Kicking off a necessary debate about the healthcare system. An ursine hairdryer with a microphone and the ear of a small and generally aging slice of the electorate is abeguiling choice for an obsession.

Obama did not get where he is today by not knowing how to win at the polls. Hannity would be a problem and a focus for Obama if he was energizing voters who were not already going to vote aginst him and he was also in the middle of a campaign for re-election.

At the last presidential election, Obama secured exactly the same percentage of the white electorate as Jimmy Carter did when running against Reagan. Carter got trounced and Obama strolled it. How effective do you think Hannity has been since the election in reaching out to the population that caused the different electoral outcomes? I will give you one hint - bashing Sotomayor was not a smart move. I would put it to you that for as so long as Hannity keeps firing up his supporters and alienating the majority Obama will keep fanning those flames.

Is there a loser in this? No. Obama gets stonger polling numbers in the states he needs to carry a victory. Hannity gets more viewers and a bogey man to permanently rail agianst. Now, if I was a republican party strategist hoping to secure a presidential victory next time around I would be slashing my wrists.

<chuckle> I surely hope poor Jane B honestly believes Obama is obsessed with a goofy little punk on a tv tabloid like Hannity. Maybe she'll be willing to buy this beach front Alaskan property with a view of Russia and a "bridge to nowhere" I've been trying to sell.:D;)

So they both were college drop outs, that speeks nothing of their intelect. Pleanty of people have and excell at jobs they are not at the begining qualified to have. Also Bill gates was a college drop out, guess he is not quailifed to run a billion dollar a year corporation. Myabe Madcow is OVER qualified at her job.
