This crying thing he does really is shameless. I agree with Navy...his show on Headline seemed more *interesting* in that he atleast tried to pass himself off as "down the middle" i.e. a Lou Dobbs type. But since he suckled up to the Evil Empire of Faux News...it's like he's a completely different character. This crying and direct address into the camera is very reminiscent of a televangelist like Jimmy Swaggert....fwiw.

The act is hyperbole, exaggeration and in some cases flat out untruths to damage their political opponents.

He might not realize it, but there are many times I believe Beck is helping Obama more than anybody else (with the possible exception of Rush).
I would just settle for the grown ups being back in charge of the political discourse in the media again and not these amateur riot inciters.
I stopped watching the road side accidents waiting to happen personalities after Steve Erwin was killed and we didn't get to see the footage.
That is why I watched Steve Erwin, I was waiting to see him shove a stick in some venomous critters face and get what he was asking for, and the time he finally did it the footage was destroyed.
So I'm not watching Glen Beck and sitting through is right wing version of the Art Bell/George Norrey "we are all doomed conspiracy theories" just in the hopes he will strip naked and start cutting himself up with a razor blade. before trying to rape the camera.
I have no doubt its just an act - but you have got to figure that doing that same horseshit over and over again has got to ware down on the brain, but what are the chances we will actually get to see the brake down?
It's professional wrestling for the politically gullible.
and the politics its arguing over is nothing more than work place bullshit with the employees jockeying for a better pay check, and neither side of the union labor dispute really give a damn about the customers.
I have actually gotten more political insight into America watching Green Acres and Andy Griffith on TV land.
