I've been sceptical about this whole thing from the beginning. The guy who posted here before heading off to Basic Training wasn't the guy who posted the OP. My first instinct was he got shit faced one night and came up with this idea (Basic and AIT are temporarily reality-altering experiences and you wind up doing shit like this). But you could be right about the hacked account thing.

One way or another, the kid that I knew wouldn't have started a thread like this.

That was his last post as well. There are two forms of suicide that I know of. 1) Those that put on a front. You see someone one day (they seem fine) and then the next...they're gone and 2)Those that call out for help. After all, the very act of suicide by overdose (in a way) is the hope that you don't die, it's also a overt way of telling people that you tried/did kill yourself.

I obviously don't feel this way - I don't wish suffering upon anyone.

But your point resonates.

It is clear that some of these individuals have never had to face mental illness. They are so blessed.

I say with the utmost sincerity that I hope they never have to - neither within themselves nor plaguing a loved one.

It would destroy them.

Remove laughter, bravado, nonchalance, happiness, peace completely ... replace these with despair, fear, anxiety, panic, paranoia, dread - like you have never known.

Then deal with these awful things, all the while struggling to meander through the stigma, mockery, finger-pointing and outright contempt that is perpetuated by the ignorant and unevolved within society who don't understand and yet have an opinion.

Poor guy came to the wrong place to ask for help, Times are rough! I had to get 6 teeth pulled yesterday, I was numbed like fuck so it didn't hurt too bad but the gave me some Hydrocodone ( Vicodin ) for pain and that shit made me feel fucking Down, I don't know if the OP will read this or if he is alive but keep your head up, get off the drugs and things will get better, besides with all the STDS and gold digging whoars theres alot of bitches that would love a respectful guy, your a unique dude for holding on to your virginity.
