No comment, but the best shooter at my club is a 63 year old woman, a ****** or four... go fig-r. :dunno:
... I'll go a little further and say that she's one of the best shooters in the world. Watch the video, it might change the way you feel about firearms if you're on the opposing side of the equation.

If those who think they don't need a *** because they feel nothing harmful is going to happen to them, why then do you lock your doors at night when you go to bed, and why do you lock your car when you leave it in a parking lot?

I'm serious! If you feel there is no danger, and by not owning a *** you feel perfectly fine, then again.... why do you lock your doors? Wouldn't your no-*** theory work the same with your house and car?

In the area where I live, women need to arm themselves more than ever today, especially now since the city had to lay off at least 66 police officers due to budget cuts. I often monitor the fire and police frequencies and I hear about all of the women getting assaulted by men lately, it's unbelievable! What's even worse is, when the victims call 911, often times there aren't any police units available to respond to secure the scene for fire/paramedics... and the thugs leisurely go on their merry way leaving behind a bruised, ****** and beatin woman who has to wait around for the police to show up.

Let a few of these woman beaters get blown away by their would be victims, we'll see how tough they are. :1orglaugh

I love guns. Too many people use them as a crutch though. A lot of people will shoot somebody really quick not because they're a badass but because they're so scared of getting hurt. Sparring a lot is needed for confidence. With or without a *** you won't be confident unless you're sure of yourself physically.

You're probably right, but I have to ask for more info...who, what, where and when? Let me just add that sometimes ''shooting quick'' can be justified in a court of law, however, in the case of ******* *** carrying gang bangers, it's usually without justification. Life doesn't have much meaning in gang culture... ''**** 'em all as they say'', they don't even think twice about the lives they take... sad.

Maybe he just feels like his life is worth preserving and/or maybe he lives and works in an area where crimes of ******** commonly occur and you don't.

Well I am an ******* *** carrier lol. But I know of criminals who will pull out guns just because they are afraid to get their ass kicked, or they're mad they did get their ass beat. Thats what most shootings are about probably. But a lot of people who aren't criminals I think do the same thing. Maybe not actually do that, but have it because they feel like it's a last resort to avoid a fight. I've actually done stuff people would want to **** me for. And if it was me, I wouldn't ever forget about, so no matter how long ago it was it's still possible something may happen. And I know you don't have to have enemies to be a victim of ********, but even me, I don't feel like I have to have a *** everywhere. The only time I do, is if I'm in a situation that I would feel comfortable trying to get me if I was them. Which can be daily stuff. I don't sit outside in my yard at night without one. But I don't feel like I need it to go to the mall or anything, because no sane person would try to **** me somewhere like that.

I have seen quite normal people with bazookas and hand grenades that they think they need for protection.
I can understand if someone feels the need to own a ***, but some people are better armed than a smaller militia.

Better to have them than to need them. I am glad I live in a country that I am allowed to have just about any firearm I wish to have. I wonder what would have happened if Premium Link Upgrade Probably more than four dead and two wonded zetas. I mean, can you imagine here in the U.S. some group of thugs being brazen enough to go up to your ranch door and demand that you leave by sundown? In Mexico, because private LAW ABIDING citizens do not have the right to have the weapons we do here in the U.S., plus without any police willing to protect them, they can be threatened and intimidated, but I'd like to see what would happen if those same cabrones came to the U.S. and tried to do that? Even if the police wasn't able to help (which I doubt) not only the rancher who was threatened would be waiting for them at sundown, but I bet the whole town armed to the teeth.

So, yes, it may seem paranoid to some people around here, but having people here with their own arsenals is a good deterrent from things like that happening here. I mean, here in TX, if you're a burglar or robber, what guarantee do you have that the home owner is not going to have a weapon? Unless you in fact know that the owner is unarmed, you'd have to be careful what house you choose to rob, even if you yourself are armed.

A 17-year-old in Starr County opens fire on suspected home invaders.

Around 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, the victim told sheriff deputies four armed men came onto his property on Pete Solis Street in Alto Bonito.

The victim said that is when he rushed to grab an AK47 and a shootout began.

The victim managed to shoot one of the intruders in the leg.

According to the Sheriff, the 17-year-old will not face criminal charges because he was “defending his property”.

Two suspects, Martin Lopez of Rio Grande City and Cesar Soto of Mexico, were arrested around midnight.

Both are being held on a $1 million dollar bond and are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The sheriff would not comment on the motive, but did say the shooting could be gang related.

You have one group that are Survivalists. This group believes that anarchy and the civilization as we know it will end or has ended. So they need as much protection as possible.
There are collectors. This group were either in the military or wanted to be in the military but couldn't. They also might not have been alive when certain weapons were used (Garands, Maxims, etc.). I include reenactors in this group.
When you start shooting, you start with low powered guns such as .22 or .410 ga. You work your way up to high powered guns. This includes semi and full auto weapons. This would be the reason for most shooters.
I will also add that there were some people who never fired a *** until they went into the military. After they left the wanted a ***. It is not a huge leap if you carried an M-16 or a FNL to gravitate to the civilian version since this is what you are familar with.
