It's fantastic- I've watched that six or seven times, and while they don't hit everything about silent films correctly, they sure did a great job on returning to that style, and there are actually some pretty frightening bits in it.

My last good one that I caught was to finally watch "Trick R' Treat", and I was VERY happy with that. For once, I was glad to hear they were making a sequel to something.

Wolf Creek 2 was very similar to the first film. If you enjoyed the first film (which I did) that is a good thing even allowing for the fact that there wasn't a great deal of originality in the the sequel.

^^ I enjoyed Jenifer also. If you have access to other Masters of Horror, Deer Woman has a similar theme as well.

assari's horror corner

This kind of movie does not scare horror film experts such as Mr. Dino Velvet, but I'm sure that the rest of us are afraid of such situations.

Re: assari's horror corner

So, more specifically, this is where we share our favorite horror films/moments, correct?

Re: assari's horror corner

PS: Horror movies don't scare me. They are all predictable in the most part.

They go by formula so you can anticipate everything. They cast annoying people you want dead anyway which ****** the maniac killer to turn babyface at the audience's delight. ****!

The Exorcist is still my favorite film of all time regardless of genre.

However Wes Craven films have more of the drama feel to them from predictability.
