Being a longtime Friday the 13th fan, I have to say that after viewing these trailers, I have faith that this actually might wind up as one of the better Friday the 13th/Jason movies we've had in a good long while.

Which would certainly be welcomed. :eek:

I dont know about that. They are re-making "They Live" and im quite pissed about that cus the original was just fine.

whatever you say but I think they should because a lot of movies would get a better picture. soon they wont have to. everything will be televised. maybe not everything but, they should make another little monsters. if not remake it come up with something.

Yeah I was pissed off about that, they are probably going to take it really seriously too, which wasn't the point.

I like to keep the same mind pace unless for some other reason. is what they are trying to say. they live was a good movie, and there should be another one. not sure if there is a squeal or not.

Its remaking the original and no there wasnt a sequel. You cant do a better job than Keith David and Roddy on those roles.

we'll they did die at the end but still there could of been a squeal that had a conclusion to what people were led on by. It makes you think it could actually be true the way people act as if they don't care. and the medicines and everything together. all they had to do was bring it back to learning more about the planet they came from or moving on to the evolution of how it would be like 10 years later or so on. or not because it was a good movie

Well if they did go on a route that had something like that than yeah it would be ok but it will just be a butchering of the original film imo.


As for FT13th I enjoy them all. If you take them for what they are than u will enjoy them so much more.

Most remakes suck ass. Very few are actually any good. I don't know what you guys thought of the Texas Chainsaw remake, but I thought it was pretty mediocre. This is made by the same director. That said the trailer is really cool. I am life long Friday the 13th fan. And, hey at the very least this remake cannot be any worse than Jason takes Manhattan.

Oh, and the They Live remake is TERRIBLE idea!

yes, already being established as having a squeal continues screen write a little more then actual modern films. Which does not take away from the credibility. Still every movie should get a chance to remade regardless. Unless it is not worth the effort.

Ok, just watched the trailer, and it looks fucking terrible. Another mediocre teen slasher film. When are these guys going to learn that no one except under age kids like films like this?

Its old footage with new technology trying to perverse the scenes. It needs to be more a loaf and complete the background make it look more sparring. They probably contrast it a little too much and dim the light. I like them they way they are but if anything it would be necessary to take the effort to change everything completely.
