I think it's one of the best games I've ever played but I can't pick it as the best game of all time. There's many games that are great, so on my list it's one of my favorite games of all time.

There's a lot of games that come close, but FFVII is the ultimate for me in game play, story line, character development and overall epicness

1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Mass Effect
3. Star Wars: KOTOR
4. Metal Gear Solid
5. God of War

I gotta agree with MGS being one of the best of all time. I had such a video game crush on Sniper Wolf haha.

I think I'm in love with you! I love FF7! The story was amazing and the gameplay was simple yet fun. Plus, it has the most badass villain out of any other game, book, or movie of all time. I still remember when the One Winged Angel song started when Sephiroth descended in his second form and just thinking, "well i'm fucked now". I could do without the spinoffs though. I think I might have to play FF7 again soon though. It's been awhile since I've seen Tifa's boobs anyways!

While we're on MGS, I just wanna know why it hasn't been made into a movie yet

Ah yes, I love Chrono Cross! I'd have to put RE4 in my fave of all time too, and Civilization! I like the original DOS game though, I still have it and I still play it all the time hehe.

No doubt. My roommates and I still like to sit down with a case of **** and play mercenaries mode in RE4. I don't have an xbox so I'm waiting for my roommate to buy RE5 so I don't have to go to classes

I never played the original but Civ2 was the single most addicting game of all time for me. I would play it for 8 hours straight and it would only feel like 15 mins ****** by

Personally, I liked Final Fantasy VIII

One of the biggest reasons I bought the original Playstation was to be able to play Final Fantasy VII. I remember buying both of them setting me back a lot of my money for me at the time.

It really takes patience if you play this but its worth playing it if you manage to complete everything.

IMO FFVI is better in every respect except graphics and sheer scope.

FFVII is a great game, but greatest ever? No.

I loved FF7. I must have played it through at least six times. Looking back... man, that's alot of hours I've ****** playing just one freaking video game.

Great game, with plenty of sentimental value to me. ...but I can't call it the greatest ever. Close.

Wow I'd never expect a Penthouse pet to be playing video games, that's really sexy for some reason

On a side note, I **** all the posers out there who just plain lie about playing video games for publicity cause it's becoming popular, take a look at Premium Link Upgrade for example. Pissed me off.

Anyway, FFVII is great. But I think many people miss out on FFVI and FFIX just because they're too hooked up on number seven. Both those games are equally good if you ask me.

My favorite games are Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask though. Still haven't played anything near those games.

FF7 and all it's surrounding spinoffs are pretty cool, but my absolute favorite FF is 8... it's so beautiful it brought me to real tears.

I would have to agree with Ashlee, not just b/c she's gorgeous, but also b/c FFVII is unrivaled, no doubt, the best game ever... I miss that kind of experience...!!!
