McBama or O' Cain?

The best thing about John McCain is his 23 yr old Busty ********. WOW. What a hottie. I would've "tolerated" him if he ran as the "Maverick" McCain of 2000. I don't like this "Poor Man's" Dubya image he's trying to run as.

Does any Republican really want to have anything to do with this economy? This economy is collapsing all around us under Dubya's watch. Today, ATA Airlines literally STOPPED OPERATIONS and stranded thousands of people! 4 other airlines have been skimping on "repairs and maintenance" because, presumably, they need the money to pay for fuel!

Dubya's tax cuts "MAY" have boosted our economy from 2003-2005, but his War Mongering ways have obliterated anything positive generated from those tax cuts and his refusal to "deal with" the wars have set us on a Depression course. It's amazing that he's going to leave War and a Crumbling Economy on his desk for the next president to deal with. The gall of that action sickens me, as an American....

do you think that is because of the republicans, because i think that is why.

the Premium Link Upgrade causes job loss, recession, and inflation.
it doesn't matter which wing of the boot-on-your-neck party currently holds the baton.
until we abolish the federal reserve, the whole world will suffer needlessly, while the elite ever skim the cream.

There is no perfect candidate. They all lie in order to get elected.

So you have to choose the less of two evils. Obama, Clinton, (or McCain in the general election)

Clinton lied about the N. Ireland peace accord, the Bosnia landing, the Ohio pregnant woman rejcted by the hospital and died and everything else.

McCain "WAS" a war hero but that was another time, another year ! (We are not back into the past, the McCain good times, women, *******, fighter pilots, and Buds ! )

Obama should never attend that church and should have condemn the minister and cut all ties !

But the worst is Pennyless Penn. These kind of people took money from foreigners and sell off America's interests. He get caught in the cookie jar while working for Clinton for job protection for the States but represented his company to sell off America piece by piece to Columbia. It is those lobby groups that are traitors and should be shot to death.

If this is 1776 and you are trying to make a trade deal with the Brits, you will be executed !

So you shameless , Pennyless Penn, get out of Pennsylvannia !

Who is Pennyless Penn? :dunno:

It is natural and correct to blame the party who "runs the white house" for misery heaped upon us and on the other side, for when policies create "general euphoria and happiness."

There are 3 reasons for this Recession--by my accounts, the Pubs/Dubya are responsible for 2 of them, and they are responsible for turning a blind eye to the 3rd...

Reason 1
Astronomical Oil--our economy and lifestyle is based on consuming oil. The rise in price is mostly due to the war in Iraq and the global uncertainty in the Middle East, mostly due to our war mongering. When we bring troops home and end the occupation..the price goes down and our economy begins a recovery. It was Dubya and the Chickenhawk Pubs who have beaten the war drum tirelessly since 9/11...

Reason 2
The Housing Crash--Dubya gave a speech in 2003/2004--where he outlined his "***** for an ownership society" where everyone in America owned a house. Then a couple of years later, too many people are crashing out of homes they had no business owning because predatory lenders and "blindeye" banks agreed to mortgages for anyone with a pulse. I can't "TRULY" connect Bush to the housing meltdown because of his "*****" but he can take heat for letting it happen on his watch, for sure...and for having his Fed Chairman bail out his buddies at Bear Stearns...

Reason 3
The Dollar is the new Peso
The value of the dollar has been falling for decades. It's not a Dubya-induced problem. What is his problem is he's simply shrugged his shoulders, given speeches about "free markets" "trade with everyone" and "everyone wants American goods"...and basically watched inflation blaze upon the marketplace. Dubya could've ordered his Treasury Secretary and Fed Chairman to implement policies which begin "repairing" the dollar but he hasn't felt the need to do so. He shakes a finger at China and moans "to the papers" about them maybe keeping their currency low...

Dubya believes that begging or whining to the people that have power over us to do the things we want them to do is all that's needed...that is his idea of diplomacy and foreign policy and oil policy....

In sum...yes...the Republicans headed by George Dubya Bush are to take the LION'S SHARE OF BLAME for the economic meltdown and misery we face today...

if we could just find another resource to use instead of oil, reason 1 whould be out the window.

We need to find another resource and soon this burning of fossil fuels and coal is altering the enviorment and putting it in real peril. We need to start a massive program of building nuclear power plants to make electricity with and replace the coal that makes 50% of it currently. And we could also use that electricity from the nukes to make hydrogen to power vehicles with.Yes there are some "possible risks" with nukes but possible risks are better than the indisputable damage oil and coal are causing.:2 cents:

Indisputable damage? :*****:

I guess I am one of the last handfull of people on the earth that hasn't entirely bought into the notion of global warming. However, if the myth aleviates our outragous gas consumption, I'm all for it.

I enjoyed watching Jesse Jackson on CNN the other evening when he was talking about this.

I know you have talked about going back to school in other threads. If you do you might want to to seek out some of the science professors and ask them if they think it is a "myth" or indisputable fact that man is causing climate change.

Obama says some voters are angry, bitter
Premium Link Upgrade

"The Huffington Post Web site reported Friday that Obama, speaking of some Pennsylvanians' economic anxieties, told supporters at the San Francisco fundraiser: "You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years. ... And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

In Terre Haute, Obama said he did describe some voters as bitter when a donor asked why working-class voters in Pennsylvania were not getting behind his campaign."

While he has a point IMO, many in Pa. will not take kindly to his comments. And both Hillary and McCain are jumping all over it.
