Even if you are a Dem, I can't see how anyone can support Hillary Clinton. Combined with her husband, she has so many skeletons in her carpet bag:

Monika Lewinski
White Water
1993 Health Care Plan
Brady Bill
Campaign Finance
Chi-Com
Wag the Dog - Bombing a Pharmaceutical Plant
Pardons for Payment
FBI Files
Paula Jones
Vince ******
Gennifer Flowers
CommerceGate
Elian Gonzalez
Impeachment
NAFTA
Waco Seige
Ruby Ridge
TeamsterGate
TrooperGate

1 - No big deal. I have elaborated on European politicians' sex life in another thread.

2 - No big deal. Nothing has ever been proven.

3 - It was a GOOD idea.

5 - It was a GOOD idea.

7 - baah-humbug! I would agree had you mentioned the ******* bombing of Serbia.

8 - Better than pardons for blowjobs (Glenn Ford... :dunno: )

10 & 12 - :*****:

14 & 17 - What's Hillary got to do with it? Did she don a wig impersonating Janet Reno?

15 - most ridiculous assault against a Prez EVER

16 - GOOD idea

And the rest: If that's the gold standard for politicians, not a single German government would have survived its first 60 days in office. :*****:

... I heard Hillary once kicked a kitten. You've forget to mention that! :crash:

So if GWB is ever put on trial his wife Laura is going to be co-defendant than right? And while I won't bother to addess all those most of which have nothing to do with Hillary or many of which are just baseless charges or failed to hurt Bill. Take Gennifer Flowers. He won 2 elections in spite of that one.But the one that Hillary did have some relation to was the 1993 health care reform.Man did we mess up not reforming health care back then. The current system which has been debated here many times is a disaster. It is a major drain on our economy as well as the lack of coverage for many.We spend twice as much per capita as all those countries that have universal coverage, aren't we just so smart.

Listen GWB is a joke, the worst President of our generation. If his wife seeks political office and goes out touting how much "experience" she has because of the offices her husband held, she should be held accountable for those things that happened within his Presidency.

Hillary is out stumping about her experience, including the years her husband was Governor of Arkansas and President. I have an issue when she attempts to take credit for the good and denies the bad... I don't believe in "Selective Experience"!

It's not just how much you spend, it also needs to include the quality of the health care. NOBODY is addressing this. There is no guarantee that we will pay less and not receive less quality care. I have some apprehensions because everything the Government gets involved with becomes administratively expensive and very inefficient.

I was hoping you would address the health care part lol.Not only do we spend double per captia our overall rank of our system is below all the other devleoped countries with universal coverage,we ranked 37th in the world according to the world health organization.Like I said this has been debated here may times,do a search on socialized medicine if you want to read about it.I put up lots of links.A single payer govt run sytem would save an estimated 300 billion right off by eliminating all the 100s of insurance companies whose overhead costs are much higher than govt run systems. As I have said in the other threads maybe if our system ranked better the costs could somewhat be justified but since it doesn't,they can't.Reform is coming we can't afford this system much longer.

And I hope pubs are going to to run a negative ****** style campaign which just bashes their opponents and basically tries to say everythings fine we need no changes.McCain will be seen as just another 3rd term of Bush policy's and will lose badly.

You make some good points that I can surely agree with. However, Hillary's 1993 Health Care proposal was not the answer. Even her fellow Dems didn't support the proposal, nor did health care professionals. The system is broken and needs to be fixed, but the only thing anyone is focusing in on is cost. None of the candidates have discussed how we bring our quality of health care up from 37th in the World. I have no issue on reforming health care and making it more affordable, but we can't afford to have our quality of health care drop as well.

Out of the three remaining candidates (Obama, Clinton, and McCain), I think there is a greater chance of a Clinton campaign going "negative". McCain didn't go negative when he was campaigning for the Pubs nomination against GWB or during this most current primary. He also seems to work pretty consistently across both aisles. Obama has stayed above board during this primary.

Her fellow dems didn't support it because their were /are very powerful lobbys opposed to it.Same reason many in the health care field were opposed although that has changed somewhat as they see this is not working and are getting tired of interference by insurance companies and HMO's.One of the reasons we rank low is because we lack preventative care which comes with universal coverage. The uninsured don't see doctors regularly and wait till they are really sick and end up in emergency rooms.Thats a very costly way to to do it.Its really not that much of a mystery on what would need to be done to reform it.Its just the powerful well funded ****** tthat are opposed to it that we don't.It's ******* us competetively when you compare us to countries like Japan. The american car companies not too long ago went to see Bush and told him that the health care costs were really hurting their being able to compete. We are the only country in the world that does it this way,I think we could maybe learn something from the others who get more for less cost.

McCain got a little nasty with Romney but not real bad I think. But my comment was really at things like that list you put up.If thats the type of things they talk about or the recent comments by a pub congressman that the terroists would dance in the streets if Obama was elected and said his middle name Hussein was an issue that will not play well.People want to hear a positive message and will reject those kinds of attacks IMO.

it was mentioned that america spends twice as much for basically crap health care. the same is true of public education. i have been studying the education question and found that the top schools are in countries where a free, or quasi-free market is used.

choice brings competition.
competition ****** excellence.

look, here's a video on youtube that supports my position!

i still have a lot of research to do, but it's looking more and more to me that the government doesn't have what it takes to make these programs work.

i'll be voting accordingly:ak47:

The whole issue is ***** of power and for GOD's sake, those politicans and rogue Government officials don't cares about ordinary citizens, it is true about the Clintons but also true in Germany and other G-7 countries. The ***** of power by rouge Government officials in other G-7 countries is despicable just like Eliot Spitzer. Even a Post Office which is run by the Government, the rogue officials will run prostitute stings, undercover stings, ****** by disabling your safety airbag, by breaking your tire, by breaking your electric wires, by cutting your shock absorption spring of your car and then the spring struck out and cut the tire and **** "YOU". It is no difference what Eliot Spitzer did to his opponents when he first went to Albany, and it is no different what a Government run Postal Service small parcel division did to its employees and just ordinary folks.

It is called "BLIND AMBITION WITH UNCHECKED POWER".

The Clintons don't care about you, when they moved to the new house in upscale NY, millions dollars of gifts were given to them as house warming, Mrs. Clinton has not released her tax return and all these only showed corruption occured not just in Mississippi but also in Washington, D.C., in Germany, and in other G-7 countries.

That's why CHINA rises up because Mao's *** went on to Korea and fought and died. Mao's only *** died fighting for his own country. If the west continues to play political mouse , it is the end of western civilization.

As Washington goes, so goes the Nation ! The end of America is coming !

Her fellow dems didn't support it because their were /are very powerful lobbys opposed to it.

...and electing a President from either party does not remove the influence of these powerful lobbies or their campaign funding $$$.

One of the reasons we rank low is because we lack preventative care which comes with universal coverage.

Regardless of how much "preventative" care is provided, Americans will continue to participate in the activities that are most directly linked to poor health; i.e. over eating, eating fatty foods, smoking, inadequate physical activity, etc.

It's ******* us competetively when you compare us to countries like Japan. The american car companies not too long ago went to see Bush and told him that the health care costs were really hurting their being able to compete.

Labor Unions have more to do with us not being competitive in the World's automobile market...

McCain got a little nasty with Romney but not real bad I think. But my comment was really at things like that list you put up.If thats the type of things they talk about or the recent comments by a pub congressman that the terroists would dance in the streets if Obama was elected and said his middle name Hussein was an issue that will not play well.People want to hear a positive message and will reject those kinds of attacks IMO.

...and I do not think the "positive" message will come from the Clinton Machine if/when thing don't go their way, their past history demonstrates this.

McCain ****** the mutliple billions dollars Navy/Air ***** contracts and gave to the EU company.

Millions of families are affected. My ex-gf worked for Boeing in Washington state and they expect laid-off when McCain ****** the contract.

Boeing Union plans on ****** on Mccain campaign anywhere NOW !

Geraldine Ferraro ****** out of Clinton camp. She will quit as Finance Committee member of Clinton campaign.

It is about time for the corrupted Clinton camp to **** up. Geraldine Ferraro is on her Finance team and raised millions for Hillary Clinton.

Let America and people from PA know the corruption of the powerful Clintons and what they did to us, as ordinary people.

Never forget Rudy Ridge, Waco (******* of all the babies and ********), Hillary Clinton has just too much negativity and attempted to claim all the credits when Bill was the Presdient. She should also be responsible for all the downfall. If Hillary can not even keep an eye on Bill, her husband and teach him what is right and wrong, what is "Ethics" then I think she does not deserve to be the President.

Where's the debate on our energy policy ?

America must follow the leaders (a post which we once so proudly held) Japan, India, France and Germany in the immediate construction of Clean Air Nuclear power plants at once ! The radical and disagreeable environmental entity "sierra club" along with their attorneys and seemingly infinite lobbing power have managed to halt, hinder and freeze every proposal for this nation to become energy self sufficient.

I believe that OPEC would become somewhat negotiable after learning that Americans set aside these trivial political debates of convenience and began to break ground on the nuclear energy facilities required for the very survival of this nation. If not, stay tuned for much higher grocery prices than we're experiencing today. The gallon jug of milk is approaching $7 for krist sake ! August - Sept. - $8 gallon of milk is projected. We have a choice of either sitting on our asses and exchanging messages about how horrible this president is :yesyes: :*****: or appraising how much higher our food prices will go before widespread civil disobedience begins. Will we **** each other or will we walk together to the steps of our state capital and demand that sensibility return to the protocol with respect to our long term energy plans ? The latter I'd hope.

I was listening to an accomplished (ret.) Lawrence Livermore Lab Scientist, Professor, Designer, Premium Link Upgrade Dr. Bill Wattenburg Livermore Natl. Lab over the weekend on his radio talk show-
The good doc strongly suggests that only a Nuclear Energy model, similar to what France has built for herself, could offer the required energy resources needed to sustain this nation into the foreseeable future. He pointed out that if steady and immediate construction were to begin within the next calendar year and in fact continued (under his model), this nation could quench about of a third of our total energy needs at the ten year point. Finally, the Doc recommended that pressure be placed on the political apparatus at once, the sooner the better he said and the answer. Oh ! and just think, we can rid ourselves of this "brilliant" cost ineffective corn for ******* fuel scheme. Perhaps this would help in reducing food prices. duh !

At this point, not a word from any of "the candidates"

"GOP candidate erroneously claims Iran is training Al Qaida in Iraq"
"Dems pounce when McCain misspeaks on Iraq"

Claim, correction
"Mr. McCain said at a news conference in Amman that he continued to be concerned about Iranians “taking Al Qaeda into Iran, training them and sending them back.” Asked about that statement, Mr. McCain said: “Well, it’s common knowledge and has been reported in the media that Al Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran. That’s well known. And it’s unfortunate.”

It was not until he got a quiet word of correction in his ear from Senator Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, who was traveling with Mr. McCain as part of a Congressional delegation on a nearly weeklong trip, that Mr. McCain corrected himself.

“I’m sorry,” Mr. McCain said, “the Iranians are training extremists, not Al
Qaeda.”

"Mr. McCain has based his campaign in large part on his assertion that he is the candidate best prepared to deal with Iraq, and the Democrats ****** little time in jumping on his misstatement to question his knowledge and judgment."

Maybe he should be checked for alzheimers.:1orglaugh
