I agree in part but sadly we have only 2 parties in this country to choose from. One side represents only the wealthiest people's interests and doesn't give a fuck about anyone else. I find that since I have to choose 1 or the other I choose the 1 that will help more people and protect people from corporations rather than the other way around. One side wants to ban labeling food so you won't know where it comes from. Or that it contains GMOs. They want to get rid of the EPA and the CDC and the bureau of consumer affairs. Sorry but I have to stand up for something and with the choices I have I pick the side that I am on.

Great posts above. The two major parties are the two major parties ONLY because the American people have allowed it to be. And neither one is any more evil, or any more noble, than the other. To believe otherwise is a fantasy and a delusion. If you act like a sheep, you get treated like a sheep. Hell, why should the two major parties treat us like anything else?

If we'd followed George Washington's advice (about the dangers of becoming loyal to parties over loyalty to the republic), we wouldn't be in this mess, now would we?

As for Trump, I was a great fan of his back in the 80's. But where once he was quite a real estate operator, now he's just an attention whore. And he's VERY good at telling naive people what he knows they want to hear. Ask the people who took his branded real estate courses, just because he'd licensed his name to some fly by night bunch of charlatans. Or the poor slobs who bought Trump branded condos and timeshares. No, his message is just the message that he knows certain people want to hear.
