I think I made a mistake when I watched the original again the night before I went to see Covenant. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe it needs to grow on me, I don't know. The first 2 are just awesome. This one? Ehhh..

What original did you see prior to Covenant?

The old 70's / 80's *****? Or Prometheus which is the prequel to Covenant and both movie story lines take place before the original *****.

I saw Covenant yesterday, thought it was OK but not mind blowing, just an entertaining popcorn flick, and I thought the same of Prometheus which sucked according to some people.

I watched Prometheus a couple of times now, and I am still waiting for me to like it. I really really want to like it, but ehh.

I am just over the whole creation thing. Give me monsters lurking in the darkness of space and I'm gold. I guess I don't need all this extra junk.


The Space Jokey was cool enough to imagine without being hit over the head with it over and over who they were and where the Aliens come from in these new films. The more the movies come out, the less and less "*****" the aliens become. I liked them as proper Aliens I guess.

Exactly and to me Covenant is just a little bit better than Prometheus in other words it is just OK not good, not bad.
Like Prometheus the movie is a little bit boring the action starts almost at the end.

It show you how the Xenomorph got created, pretty weird the first time that i see that they come from a kind of mushroom first WTF? :eek:
And then the Bot "there alway a bad robot in the ***** movies" has created them like we know them today, it made some expériences and find out that the human are good for what he searched to create.

If i had to rate this movie i guess i would give 13/20.

The best ***** movie to me is and i guess will always be the Premium Link Upgrade by James Cameron this one is a true masterpiece one of my all time favorite.

MY whole thing is, I don't think we need 3, let a lone 2 films to tell us about the origins of the xenomorphs. Can't they just be monsters? I liked it when they were monsters.

Not only do they fucking own earth, I would show a deeper look into their society as a species.

Example, you know how they have the queen and drones? It's like bees or ants right? Well, how about a unique species in their line up known as the royal guard? Evil fucking bastards that protect the queen *****. If presented the right way, I think they could be pretty fucking awesome.

I know exactly how'd they land here, and how they'd thrive enough to start taking over. Its alllllllllllll up here.

I haven't seen covenant yet.
I liked AVP: ***** vs. Predator (2004), even though most people didn't because it was set in the present and disrupted the ***** movies timeline.
Instead of a "scary" ***** movie, I'd rather see an R-Rated ***** vs Predator vs Terminator movie, with time travel, space ships, ***** planets, lots of action, adventure and hot chicks.
