RAP is 3/4 of the spelling for the word CRAP...coincidence? I think not!

I only agree with you to a certain extent. Rap from about '97 or '98, til now most definitely sucks ass(that krunk shit especially). There was a lot of stuff in the early 90's that was some really good shit, mostly from the east coast.A Tribe Called Quest, Leaders of the New School,Wu Tang Clan,Gangstarr, just to name a few, all exhibited lyricism at it's absolute finest. Not all of it was about fucking the most women, making the most money or killing people(although, those themes were present),a lot of it was about poetic creativity at a level that few could contend with. That is one of the main reasons I never really cared for west coast gangster rap, most of those guys didn't have any real skills.

To say rap is crap is a very ignorant statement,IMO.Don't get me wrong, there is some really bad stuff, but the same can be said about any genre of music.

probably either Rakim, I aint no joke.
or Nas New York state of mind.
but then:
Guillotines off Raekwon, with Inspecta Deck.
Hand on Experience by High n Mighty.
Ebonics, Big L.
Give up the Goods, Mobb Deep.

theres a lot of good hip hop out there.
