Not a fan of The Descent, but Let the Right One In was great. I hope, with this bullshit emo vampire craze going on, people check this out and see how a real vampire horror film goes down.

Not a fan of The Descent, but Let the Right One In was great. I hope, with this bullshit emo vampire craze going on, people check this out and see how a real vampire horror film goes down.
The pool scene? Great stuff.
1. Paranormal Activity (It's the way a horror movie should be made, a good story, low budget and no shitty cgi).
2. 28 Days Later
3. Wolf Creek
4. High Tension
5. Martyrs
6. 28 Weeks Later
7. Eden Lake
8. Shutter (The original....the American remake is crap).
9. Funny Games
10. 13: Game of Death
Laid To Rest gets honorable mention because I thought it did a good job of recreating the feel of the 80's slashers.
This list could change, though. I still haven't gotten to see Trick r' Treat or Header yet.

I haven't seen Anti-Christ. When I look it up on Amazon it says that it's been discontinued by the manufacturer. Where did you see/get this movie at?
I thought it was alright.
Although my praise – however much that may be - might solely be down to the sight of Willem Dafoe's ball sack .... but I can't be 100% sure on that.

A lot more bleaker than it's sequel. You got a better ghost town vibe to this movie as well. In this movie you didn't care if The Infected turned up. You just enjoyed the movie. Where as in 28 Weeks Later all you were waiting on was The Infected turning up to liven things up.
