just when i thought i was out..............
if you read or listened what he said, you would see he didnt blame anybody..
Lets practice
Where does the conversation probably take place?
A) In front of a shop window
B) The Irish
C) on an airplane
D) at an airport
E) at a gym
Woman: would you like a window seat?
Man: Isle would be better, I like getting up and stretching my muscles
every now and again.
Woman: I'll see what I can do.
No go back and read Rushes words:
Who does he blame?
A) Aging hippy liberal douches
B) Obama
C) The Irish
D) Neocons
E) Nobody
I know what you think but Rush says essentially based on some standard we could almost say this is Obama's fault.
What you want to believe is that he's using an absurd example to demonstrate absurdity. The reality is he wants the listener of his statement to extrapolate that Obama has promised something he can't or won't deliver and now our military personnel face a new threat as a result...with the backdrop being some concocted standard for which to lay blame.
I understand that you think you hear him claiming the political correctness of shifting blame away from a responsible party but it's just a shill to make the statement implicating Obama. Most sensible people can read between the lines of what he said and understand that the whole notion is absurd and won't think twice about whether he's blaming Obama or not. Rush is targeting the percentage of people who are only going to hear the, "...we could almost say this is Obama's fault..." part. That's where the insinuation comes in.
A psych 101 student can figure this out simple routine out.
