How could Trump not recall how prevalent the chants were at his rallies? He even used a similar version during one of the 2016 debates with Hillary. Does he even believe what he is saying?

I'm glad this is a New York State conviction. As this conviction cannot be expunged.

If and when the debates happen .... All these unconfirmed voters will be back in Joe Biden's corner. In 2020, Joe Biden crushed Donald Trump in the two debates they had. Donald Trump cancelled the third debate.

Donald Trump has nothing on his plate to offer. At his rallies, he spews lies. (Like how unemployment was low under his administration when it was in fact close to 20 % an all-time high; his lies about the Pandemic, etc.) and he get the crowds riled up with complaint, complaint, complaint and "Sleepy Joe" utterances that are very incoherent. He slurs his words. Late night comedians take to it like bees to honey. Joe Biden can talk about how the economy is growing, how infrastructure has improved.

Donald Trump talks about the migrants coming over the border. He blames Joe Biden. But if you look at the facts, Trump told the House Republicans to reject the bi-partisan settlement that the Senate came up with. The Cult followers listened. So Trump is the cause of the migrant problems. What's Donald Trump going to do? Use the "Build the Wall" grifting scam again? So that his lieutenant Steve Bannon can continue to steal from it. Like I said, Trump has nothing to offer the American people.

Along with The Lincoln Project, the ex-Republicans and now independents who are trying to free the land of Donald J. Trump.

Trump seems to believe SCOTUS is his personal jury of choice. He is calling for them to intervene in his recent conviction. For someone who wants to portray himself as a strongman, he acts more like a victim.

If you were to determine your vote based just on the debate tonight, the GOP would win in a landslide.

The Dems had a chance to replace sleepy joe with someone, literally anyone who could have done better, and they didn't. The Dems really need to consider replacing him ASAP or they will have no one else to blame when they lose.

Who's to blame? You need to look at the second impeachment of Donald Trump in 2021. If the Senate Republicans had voted to convict him, the country would not be in this predicament now. Donald Trump would not be eligible to become President again let alone the GOP's nominee in 2024. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, the Senate's minority voice, called him out on the January 6th insurrection. He said although President Trump was guilty along with other leaders of provoking the March on the Capitol -- it was not the Senate's job in finding him guilty. They chickened out. So, McConnell voted along with the rest of the GOP in the Senate not to convict.

As for President Biden, he'll regroup. There's still time. He'll be well prepared for the second debate. You've got to remember - he kicked Trump's ass twice in the two 2020 debates.

CNN continues to not fact-check Donald Trump's lies and misrepresentations. They allowed him to respond with many lies and they did not rebuke him. That is never good.

The Lincoln Project (Rick Wilson and the other ex-Republican influencers) will continue to help Joe Biden win this election. They hate Donald Trump with a passion.

I can’t justify his performance yesterday. It was poor. I can justify his performance over the past 3.5 years though - especially when compared to Trump’s first 3.5 years. Even at his worst, Joe had a better understanding of facts than Trump.

Trump has his moments where you go WTF. Listen to his rally speeches where he goes off on some irrelevant tangent. Or even formal ones where he discusses the revolutionary war era army occupying airports.

Whoever prepped him should be fired. I don’t recall hearing about infrastructure. The investments made there should have been front and center.

I will opt for day-to-day competence over a poor debate showing.
