*2016 US Presidential Elections* - Candidates, Statistics, Campaign Timelines, Debates

Speaking of which, it was widely publicized that he was one of the people helping him prep for this debate. I wonder what he helped with?

He obviously helped him with not coming across the podium like a spider monkey and lighting her up about her husband's treatment of women for the past 40 years when she had the gall to start on Trump's behavior toward a select few women. Most of whom deserved the things he said about them.

He has a one on one debate under his belt now and he will be much more relaxed in the next two.

I personally would not have held back for poor little Chelsea's sake and would have reminded Pantsuit that before she started pointing the finger at me she is married to the greatest serial abuser of women that ever occupied the oval office and to clean up her own problems at home before she started criticizing anyone else.

He could have brought up all the Clinton victims of scams and frauds. All of Bills sexual assualt victims

That would be pretty unwise considering Bill's never been convicted of sexual assault.

Libya, Benghazi, Pay for Play, The DNC corruption but he didn't.

Yeah he did address the bolded ones.
And what's he going to say about Benghazi? That we should have another 9 hearings on top of the 9 taxpayers have already payed for that all reached the same conclusion?

Basically Trump was...offering solutions

I guess I need to watch a replay because I saw very little of that for the most part.

Like I said many times before, US politics is like a sporting event, a lot of you are using sports terminology to describe the debate.
This isn't a sporting event to gloat about if your "team" wins, the election will decide the future of the country, will affect most people in America and possibly have repercussions for generations and affect billions of people worldwide.
Imagine if the evil Nazis had lost the 1933 elections, all the misery of WW2 could have been avoided.
Isolationism breeds hatred, greed, war and misery.

Nice.
You know Trump was gonna invite all Bills sexual assualt victims but there wasn't enough seats.

One thing, what I think was the best point Trump made was the money spent on wars by the US.
I believe he was speaking about only the Obama PREZ when he said 6 trillion.
And he made the point that it is worse than ever wherever we've invaded and that money could have rebuilt the entire country.
And he was right.

But keep in mind the "money spent" does go somewhere. It goes to the people who get the contracts.
And some of that money goes right back to the politicians who created the wars in the first place.
It's a nice racket and that is the #1 reason Trump is a threat to all these traitors (in politics).
That and the drug racket they control.

Well Lux history is written by the winners.
So who's to say who's evil or not when our history is revised and distorted.
But I know one thing. The USA, France, and England have been at war with some poor schmucks for hundreds of years.
If it wasn't the Germans it would have been the Russians because they need war to exist.
And without Germany involved to decimate most of the Red Army, Russia would have rolled right over Europe.
But that's a different subject for a different time.

Back on topic: Little advice for those who care to partake.
As soon as the debate is over turn it off.
Turn it off and smoke a doobie or whatever the hell you people do.
Judge for yourself, don't let the propaganda machine and all it's paid shills influence you.

That's not my understanding of it Mr P. Seems to me Russia was actually much stronger militarily at the end of the war than the beginning, despite their horrific casualties. What stopped them from rolling right over Europe as the fall of Berlin approached was the presence of the western allied forces in their path, who were determined not to let that happen.

I believe he was speaking about only the Obama PREZ when he said 6 trillion.

No. That included Bush.

Most of the corporations that got all that free war time money voted republican, and they were all very happy for the war, which very few or none of their relatives served in.
They took all those trillions and hid it in other countries to avoid taxes, or they bought up tons of devalued property after the housing bubble burst...aka the usual corrupt business and politics.
I wish I believed Trump could change things, but realistically he is more likely to be assassinated if he tried to change the system that the filthy rich and powerful assholes control.
He's not stupid, he makes wild empty promises to get elected, but if he becomes president he will be told what to do otherwise he will be punished financially.

Trump did fine. A little short tempered, perhaps, but he did fine.

Lester Holt fact checked Trump four (or more) times and didn't do so to that liar Hillary. Subtle manipulation of the idiotic lemming masses.

Isolationism breeds hatred, greed, war and misery.

lol wut? I give a shit about what America is up to, and the rest of the world for the most part can piss off. Isolationism was the American way for much of our country's history, and "nation building" and "world policing" are dubious constructs created by globalists - RINOs and democrat/liberals alike.

He did do fine BS. He let them suck him into a few traps which sucked up precious time but he got his point across.
Plus he was debating 2 people. His opponent and Hillary Clinton.
I'm gonna skim through it again later and give my official freeones anal-ysis soon. Hopefully no one will read it.

And youre correct, the US was an isolationist nation prior to 1917.
The people did not want to get involved in Europes war until the press changed their opinion after the Lusitania.
Funny how in 1914 the Federal Reserve took over our money supply and a year later there's a world war.

Really? I'll take your word on that but it is hard to believe Russia would have been stronger after 5 years of horrible war.
My point was not after WWII but if let's say Germany did nothing, stayed in horrible poverty and never built back their country.
Let's say they were a pacifist nation filled with a bunch of flower children smoking doobies and dropping lsd.
England and France would have had a war with Russia instead.. And they would have dragged the US into it again.
Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin were gonna get their war no matter what. That's what I believe.

Yes. Pretty sure that is the case. They were just such a massive nation population wise that they were able to absorb those horrific losses and actually expand their armies over time. Also their industrial production of weapons of war (among other things) steadily increased and was never more robust than nearing the end, while Germany's was being knocked flat by allied bombing.

But would they have, really? Or did Stalin only have designs on Germany? I should know that answer myself, and I think it's the latter, but in the moment I'm not sure.

Reading the posts on here by the Trump supporters made me realize how much politics is like team sports. Apparently Trump did flawless in the debate, not one mistake at all. Absolutely perfect. Same for all of the primary debates as well. Politics is like team sports in that we support our team no matter what. And there's nothing wrong with that. That's actually a true fan in my book. I'm a Bears fan and right now they're terrible. But even though they're terrible I'm not switching allegiance and becoming a Packers fan. But that doesn't mean that they are immune to criticism. And it should be the same for politicians no matter what. Even if they're on your "side"

I'm a sports fan, but other than the Boston Celtics, I've never been loyal to one team. Especially when it comes to football, I'm intrigued by offensive schemes, the X's and O's of it, and QB play. In fact, in another life, I think I was Bill Walsh or Mouse Davis, except they are/were contemporaries? Whatever, I digress.

I'm not rah rah over Trump and am still smh at times that the conservative base nominated this guy. But as I often quote that wise man Thomas Sowell - "compared to what?"

And I'm sorry I missed most of the debate and when Lester Holt brought up Hillary's email and pay for play scandals. That must've been something.

He could have brought up all the Clinton victims of scams and frauds. All of Bills sexual assualt victims, Haiti, Libya, Benghazi,Pay for Play, The DNC corruption and election fraud ect ect ect but he didn't.
He could have brought up the Clinton Foundation and the millions her and her husband get paid making speeches to Big Biz's and Big Banks which are obviously bribes but he held back.

Agreed! But why didn't he? Going into the debate there's 3 issues that he had attack her on: emails, Benghazi and the foundation. He failed on all three. That's not Lester Holt's fault. It's incumbent on Trump to bring up those issues and press her. He fell into the same trap that Obama did in the first debate in 2012 when Obama took Romney's bait and felt that he had to defend his record by answering every question and explaining too much

I'm not a Trump supporter. I am a person voting for him because 4 or 8 more years of open borders, irresponsible immigration policy and not taking out ISIS will destroy this nation.

I haven't seen anyone beating their chests over Trump's debate performance, although I gained tremendous respect for his ability to take on a highly polished FibBot in his first 1 on 1 debate and if he had hit her on a couple of tee'd up low hanging curve balls he would have had the debate performance of the century. To use sports references.
Stephen Hayes says Trump won the first half hour easily and probably the whole debate because he didn't go Full Trump.

Hillary pissed him off over his tax returns when she accused him of not being as wealthy as he claims, he was visibly irritated. I'm not enthused about Hillary, "look who's on the tv, mama, it's the debil", and my hair's not on fire over the possibility Trump winning. Sticking with sports, being from Texas and loathing the Cowboys for the last ten years has really taught me to say, "fuck team loyalty". I like Strict's perspective, I'm an x's and o's kind of guy, I don't care which team is in the Run and Shoot, that's who I'm rooting for.

How do you think WWII would have turned out if we'd embraced your brand of isolationism?

"World policing" a globalist/liberal construct? Not seeing that either. It's always been a way of protecting our national interests, wherever it's been practiced.

Iceman: He fell into the same trap that Obama did in the first debate in 2012 when Obama took Romney's bait and felt that he had to defend his record by answering every question and explaining too much

Agree. And that pretty much buried him. It'll be interesting to see if he can shift that focus the way Obama did. But I get the feeling with Trump that his whole "it's all about me" mentality is going to keep him vulnerable to that kind of strategy.

Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address hits me hard every time I listen to it, but it's good for the feels.

Vote with your heart, don't vote only for yourself, vote for what you truly believe is best for the future.
Unfortunately it's a two party system, so voting for a third party is a wasted vote.
Countless men and women died in the past 240 years fighting for truth, justice and freedom, don't let their sacrifices have been in vain.

Houston Oilers. Warren Moon to Ernest Givins >>> Electric Slide. Good times.

Though it's concepts live on in the NFL (just look what New England does in the passing game with no true #1 receiver), as a dedicated Run and Shoot offense, I think only Rolovich at Hawaii is running it along with whatever high school coaches across the country. I think the concept is awesome - change your routes after the snap based on the coverage and shred the defense. If the QB and receivers make the same reads, the defense is always wrong. It was fun to watch when it was on point.

Can you believe I heard that Gettysburg Adress for the very first time?

I so dearly hope you guys one day - soon, I hope - get another republican or democratic candidate like him again. Not only your own country is in dire need.
