LOL at Clemson! Complete FAILURE by Dumbo Dabo and his team! And I can't think of another place better for their winning streak to end and their BCS Championship hopes to disappear than on their on home field in prime-time television! :thumbsup:

So much for Auburn University having no chance to beat Texas A&M, especially at Kylie Field and their '12th Man.' What a shootout! Congrats to Auburn for playing the game and not listening to the know it all elitist.

So now Florida St. is the new darling of the opinion set. Last week it was Clemson, next week, who knows? This is the major problem with college football as I see it. WAY too much importance is placed on opinion. And, of course, the opinion of a computer program whose purpose is to have an opinion. Imagine, if you will, the NFL starting out the year with teams from the NFC North, Central and East, and the AFC Central and East and West automatically shut out of any chance whatsoever of playing for a Super Bowl, because a berth in the Super Bowl is dependent on what a computer thinks of your strength of schedule, and since the teams from those divisions don't have a strong enough schedule, sorry, you're out. (Sound ridiculous? How many conferences are there in the FBS? And how many of those conferences are included in the current BCS and next year's playoff hoax?) Then further imagine a 16 game season is played, and at the end of that season, writers, coaches and the afore mentioned computer decide who plays in the Super Bowl, FIVE WEEKS after the end of the season. And here's the kicker. Imagine that we fill those five weeks with games being played between any and all teams that managed to win one more game than they lost.

My point is college football is MUCH too exciting to have such a fucked up post season, and an even more fucked up method of deciding its champion.

All in all, an interesting week in college ball. Things are starting to come into focus. Next week, should be just as entertaining.

Alabama
An off week before LSU. Les Miles will need to have his team play the game of their lives just to have a microscopic chance in this one. With Les Miles being Les Miles, I don’t see it happening. After that, Bama will easily win their next 2 games before going to Auburn. At the start of the year, I would’ve said Auburn had no chance. Before yesterday, I was thinking, maybe, but after getting past Johnny Football, it’s certainly possible. One problem with Auburn though is QB Nick Marshall. He sucks. He may have ****** for over 200 yards against A&M, but the fact is, he completed less than 50% of his passes against the worst defense in the SEC. Sure, he can run like a gazelle, but Auburn needs to get his passing game in better shape.

Oregon
Up next, UCLA, but I’ve been saying all year that the Bruins are overrated, and yesterday proved that. After that, an off week before a Thursday night game with Stanford. The Ducks will be pumped up for that one. With no other games that day, everyone will have to watch this one, and the entire team will want to put on a show. Oregon will then breeze thru the rest before Oregon State. I expect the Ducks to win that one, but the score could be something like 75-59 with Mannion cracking 600 yards.

Missouri
Their last 3 wins, SEC teams. Their next 5 games, SEC teams. Whoever was responsible for that schedule was an idiot and needs to be fired. Anyhow, unless they just fall apart, I don’t see anyone beating them except possibly Texas A&M. However, imagine this, both Bama and Missouri win out. Two undefeated teams playing for the SEC Championship would be a ratings bonanza!

Florida State
Only Miami and the Florida Gators have any chance, and neither chance is good as both are rivalry games. I believe the Seminoles have the easiest road to a perfect season.

Ohio State
On the off-chance they finish undefeated, they could end up playing an undefeated Florida State team with no national championship on the line.

i.e. The 2012 BCS Championship game where a team who didn't even win it's conference championship game, who didn't even make it to the conference championship game, played in the BCS Championship game.

It's a popularity contest. How else could that happen? Only by manipulating and rigging the computer polls, and confusing the other voters with propaganda.

Once again, the BCS and poll system, that WILL NOT be addressed with the supposed 4 team playoff, sucks.

Watching the Oregon game Saturday night, I noticed my biggest pet peeve. (Aside from the fact that I think those helmets caused permanent retina damage.) First down, WSU stops Oregon with a one yard gain, and the defense is high fiving and chest bumping. Uh, guys, this offense can move a long way in a hurry, and given the fact that they don't like to punt, you have three more downs to stop them before you celebrate. Sure enough, next play Mariotta runs for a TD.

Clemson shouldn't be allowed in the top 25. There. I said it. We all knew they were gonna suck. Only question was when.

Do you suppose Johnny Football wanted to take a baseball bat to the entire A&M defense? Geez! I'm no Manziel fan, but talk about no support from teammates. One damned stop against AUBURN. You couldn't muster that?!

College Game Day on ESPN SUCKS. They're SO stuck in the eastern time zone and L.A. To which I'm sure their retort would be, "hey, we were in Seattle last week." Yep, you were in Seattle, talking about the Big Ten for two hours. Uh, guys, there are other teams and conferences than the Big Ten and the SEC.

For years, the fans have been screaming for a playoff and we're finally getting one. We haven't even had our first one and you're saying it sucks. So, what would be your solution to fixing the issue?

Clemson - I agree. They suck, but you're going a little too far. They have a case for top 25, defintely not the top 10 though.

Texas A&M - The worst defense in the SEC against the best running game in the SEC. If Auburn had swapped QB Marshall to running back, pulled Frazier off defense and put him back there as well, and stuck Jeremy Johnson at QB, Auburn would've blown them out. Malzahn is one of the best caoches in College football, but he suffers one flaw that almost every coach seems to have. He refuses to start a superior QB just because he's a freshman. Take a fucking lesson from Jimbo Fisher.

Clinton Dix was reinstated by the NCAA, proving what I’ve been saying over the past 4 years, the NCAA has become a horribly corrupt farce.

NCAA President Mark Emmert and NCAA Director of Compliance Derrick Crawford are firmly entrenched in Nick Saban’s back pocket.

I’ve got friends and ****** members who are Bama fans and they have been telling me how shocked they are that the NCAA did absolutely nothing to penalize Bama.

In regards to the scandals from lawyer John M Phillips, former players DJ Fluker, Luther Davis, and other players/agents/individuals, Yahoo dug up tons of evidence: documents, text messages, phone records, cash transfers, hotel stays, furniture, airline flights, other expenses, etc., and the NCAA refuses to say anything about that.

It makes you wonder how ( if ) they will handle that one. With that much evidence, they can’t resort to their usual tactic, sweeping it under the rug, or something less than a wrist-slap, so I expect something along the lines of a polite letter asking them to be more careful and not leave a paper-trail that is so blatantly conspicuous.

With the exception of Oregon, every college that has been penalized over the past 5 years needs to hire an army of lawyers and sue the living **** out of the NCAA for their two-faced methods of dishing out penalties.

Bungled Miami probe exposes NCAA's own legitimacy issues in seedy detail

After they finish investigating Alabama, this is how the NCAA will justify protecting the Tide. They did virtually nothing to Miami, and their infractions were much more severe.

Talk about a body that's racing toward irrelevance. I foresee a day when the member institutions of what now consists the BCS extend their middle finger collectively to the rest of the college football world, and go off on their own. Yes, it's pretty much what's going on right now, but I think the day is coming when the Big Ten, Pac 12 Big 12, SEC and ACC openly tell the world what we've known all along. They're going to do whatever the fuck they want to do, and they don't give a fuck what happens to the rest of college football.
