I don't think they made the top 25 you can be ranked and on probation I think.

Picking LSU in this week's "battle of the titans"
I've never been a big LSU guy but this year's team looks rock solid to me.

You know I like ya bodes, but you crazy lol.

:1orglaugh

yeah you're right friend, AZ State doesn't deserve to be ranked anywhere near that high....but they've got an easy road to the Pac 12 championship game, where a win would mean an automatic BCS bowl bid, so.....

I will say though that I think at a neutral site AZ State and FL State would both beat S. Carolina and Nebraska, who occupy your number 8 and 9 slots.

My Top 10 right now:

1) Alabama
2) LSU
3) Stanford
4) Oklahoma State
5) Oklahoma
6) Boise State
7) Wisconsin
8) Oregon
9) Nebraska
10) Arkansas / Houston (tie)

Let the hype begin for the Clash of the SEC Titans this week... LSU visits Bryant-Denny Stadium in what should be a hard hitting contest of wills! :nanner:

Wisconsin #7?

Was I dreaming last not? Because I'm pretty sure I rushed on the field when Bucky the Badger got loss #2.

bama and lsu looks solid..i watched them both every game i could..only flaw i seen in bama was the touchdown they gave up against florida...with lsu i go back to the west virginia game...starting the second half WV marched the first 2 possesions straight down the field for touchdowns i think bama wins this one...anyway i see okl and the winner of this game playing for the NC....you cant win a NC with no defense..just like clemson..okl st stanford , give up 48 points to lsu bama or okl you get beat ill even throw boiesy in this mix

Im personally rooting for team Chaos. I want there to be 4 unbeatens at seasons end to show just what a fraud the BCS.

No, they don't have Trent. Trent has the daunting task of having to run against that defense.

I have to agree. LSU's defense is scary good.

Everybody already knows the BCS is a fraud. The problem is ESPN. They have too much influence/power in college football and they are firmly behind the status quo of BCS bullshit. A playoff would end up on a major network instead of ESPN, so they wouldn't make any money. That's why we're stuck with this stupidity every year.

this jusT in: for all you guys that think lsu wins..you can get lsu and 4.5 as of now

did someone say defEnse?? i just wanted to shine the light on this lsu has a good defense only giving up very near 12 points a game...on the other hand..that defense that hasnt been talked about much is only giving up less than 7:wave:

And I thought USC wasn't eligible for ranking - is that just for the BCS rankings?

Teams on probation are not eligible for the BCS nor any poll associated with the BCS (Coaches, Harris). They remain eligible for the AP Poll.

No arguments here. All 4 of those teams are inconsistent. If ASU had a proper head coach, I think they could be a title contender. Erickson belongs back at a school like Oregon State or Washington State with tempered expectations where he could improve the team on recruiting alone. It's no longer 1985, talent alone doesn't bring titles, but it does bring wins. ASU already has the resources to bring in big time players. They need a true coach to coach them up.

That might not be entirely accurate, ABC is a major network and pretty much parent company of ESPN, I wouldn't count them out so easily. Fox proved they have no idea how to broadcast a college football game (over 80-someting crowd/band shots in the TCU/Boise Fiesta Bowl a couple years back). That leaves CBS and NBC as the big time competitors, not sure about how NBC's broadcasts are, because I don't watch Notre Dame a whole lot. CBS on the other hand would be a big threat to get the rights to a playoff considering they do a superb job with the NCAA Tournament in basketball. That said, the BCS is a pretty silly way to crown a champion.
