If you've every tailgated at an LSU game, you'd understand... I love the sentence "...alcohol may have been a factor."

My sister in-law went to UF. She and my brother went to an LSU-Florida game at Tiger Stadium and to this day my brother swears that had to be the single largest bing drinking event he's ever witnessed. My sis in-law tried to warn him but I guess the whole cocktail tradition was lost on him until he actually witnessed it.

im a bama fan...but that come from a texas point of view....okl screwed texas last year....im still pissed about that...and i dont give a damn about texas.....my point is......they wont be screwing nobody this year.....what comes around....goes around ....

lol Oklahoma screwed Texas? Oklahoma didn't screw anybody. If anything, Texas screwed themselves when they lost to Texas Tech. All Oklahoma did was just handle business after the Red River Rivalry, something Texas should have done as well. Get mad at the Big 12 commissioner for the rules. Oklahoma doesn't run the the Big 12, though it may seem that way.

Just when I was about to give Alabama some credit and say they are back even though they still have not beaten anyone. They beat Kentucky like they stole something. You had to make a comment like this.^:nono: Shame

You are humble:rolleyes:I remember back in the 90's my father use to say you just don't know how good Oklahoma use to be in which I thought at the time they were an okay team but my pointis when they came back as a national power they really kicked the shit out of people I'm happy I can tell my children and grandchildren I saw some really good football programs.Once Colorado,Washington,Washington State return to power the world will be a happier place can't forget about Nebraska :D just a thought

 I have agree 100%. Yeah, Texas got screwed but to say that OU screwed them is simply idiotic. How do you screw a team by losing to them? OU could have REALLY screwed us by pulling out the win in Dallas last year....but they didn't so the 'Horns had their fate in their own hands and they fucked it up out in Lubbock when they basically had the game won. If anything screwed Texas, the Big 12 rules did....not OU.

It's past history. Forget about it.

^I'm going to hate to see him go to many cheifs I'm just saying the same thing happened with Penn State a few years ago can't stay on top forever I'm glad we have not had a losing season yet.Refs admit they made a mistake in LSU-Georgia game

i been messing with the point spreads for years...when i see one that looks sideways i can spot it....bama - 6 and half against ol miss looks off the shelf to me .......i cant do it because i dont bet against bama ....or peyton manning.......but if ol miss and 6 and half dont cover........lots of money gunna be lost in vegas saturday if bama wins it will be a close one bama 21 ol miss 17.....take the 6 and a half:(

Interesting game tonight. Is Nebraska for real? Nearly beating VT at home appears to be a pretty impressive loss so far.

Pelini seems to have them playing tough, hard-nosed ball right now.

What....no love for Mizzou? They are undefeated!!! What other team can boast victories against teams like Illinois, Bowling Green, Furman and Nevada? They should crush the Huskers. :1orglaugh

Actually, this could be a very good matchup. I think Nebraska is on the way back big time and Pinkel has done nothing short of a miracle with the Tigers. Unfortunately, I won't be able to watch it until late....probably mid-3rd quarter.

Just think....the winner of the Big 12 North gets an opportunity to be destroyed in the conference championship game again!

Should Florida State give Bobby Bowden the "we wish him well in his future endeavors" memo, say, after whatever Bowl game Florida State goes to?

The Nebraska/Missouri game should be pretty good. The Big 12 North is looking better than I though it would be. Good, but not great.

How about Nebraska though? This team might be in the top 10 if it wasn't for that Virgina Tech miracle. Nebraska looks to be on the rise.

Nebraska 27, Mizzou 24

The FSU hierarchy is giving some pretty telling comments about Bowden's future.

Just got back from 10 days in the sandbox, looking forward to a pretty good slate of games this weekend!

That was freakish the way Nebraska exploded for 27 pts. in the 4th.....should be an interesting season in the Big 12....:nanner:

Well, I think the rain had a lot to do with the sluggish start by both teams. Once the rain stopped, the Nebraska offense took over and their defense shut Missouri down.

I actually think Nebraska will beat Oklahoma this year. There's no way we're stopping Ndamukong Suh. I thought McCoy was good... but this dude is a freak.

Prediction: Texas vs Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship game.
