You're obviously forgetting his WORLD SERIES victory. Ozzie is a good manager. Even the best of managers can't make their players perform well. Case in point...Mike Hargrove. I know him personally and he is an AMAZING manager, yet, the Indians fired him because of one stupid year when his players couldn't perform.
Ozzie will make things better next year, guaranteed.

No, he isn't! The World Series Victory in the year where they played well above their heads, were very lucky with injuries, and most of their pitchers played above their norm made him seem like a lot better manager than he really is. He might be a step down from Baker.

The cubs better at least make it to the world series this year. Once they get there it would be nice to see them win, but I won't hold my breath!

Yeah, there's really no other NL teams I really fear as a Cubs fan. The pitching is working, along side with the batting. At least working well enough to make me feel good about facing NL teams. I worry about Zambrano, but we'll see tonight.
AL teams, well, of course I fear them.

God TBS's coverage of the playoffs sucks. They don't give it that playoff atmosphere that we usually get. It's like watching a meaningless game in the middle of July. Not round 1 of the playoffs.
