The way people in the UK they speak is easy to pick out . But I was doing some reading and general US and southern accent come up a lot. What is the main features of accent and dialect thing that makes them apart.

How so ? 15% of people in US are out work and some places higher and if you weak in English or taking ESL like me it will be hard to get job.

I live in suburbs . The only other thing is I'm taking ESL and not good at English may be that is why they saying that. And by way I don't know how they talk so I can't say if that factor or not. And yes I'm white.

Why do people keep saying I'm Hick or hillbilly ?I don't live in woods a messy or dirty house .I don't own any guns or drive truck. why do people say this? I always thought to be Hick or hillbilly you have to. -live in woods -messy and dirty house -love guns -rough living. Why is that.

oh yes I think you find many guys will find girls that smoke or girls that are rough a turn on. Just look at some of movies you see that !!

What is franchise . Do you mean what stores are allowed . If so that would be city zoning .Some cities are picky on stores popping up in some areas than others.

There is nothing on TV now do to well too many people downloading movies and shows . Well when this happance less people watch TV and less money thus to make money they have to have cheap programs and this why TV is the way it is. It people to blame not networks.
