Which movie sequels were better than their originals?

I agree with Emprire and Evil Dead. I would add X2, Spider-man 2 (the Toby ones), and the 2nd Christian Bale Batman. Also the 3rd Indiana Jones movie is my favourite of those. Wrath of Khan anyone? Far better than The Motion Picture.

    Video Of Kajieme Powell Killing

I usually don't agree with Will, but that in no way was a clean shoot. He wasn't running at them, and he didn't display a knife. He certainitly was not brandishing a knife overhanded. He walked towards them, walked away from them, then started to walk back towards them. The guy probably...

How Long Do You Wait Before Seeing A Doctor?

How Long Do You Wait Before Seeing A Doctor?

I used to get strep throat a lot, so Jim Henson kind of changed my outlook on how long to wait. The last time I waited a week, because I thought I had a minor sore throat. When I went in I found out it was strep, and had spread to my sinus cavity. Took three weeks of antibiotics to get over...

EU right to be forgotten - good idea or state enforced censorship?

Bingo, it needs to be limited, press, reviews, court cases shouldn't be touched. I don't think that will happen as court records on a foreclosure are what prompted this ruling. Mostly hyperbole yes, but I think I got the point across about how hard it will be to prevent the abuse of something...

EU right to be forgotten - good idea or state enforced censorship?

The problem comes in the review process, there isn't one. Google decides what is removed and what isn't. In my first post I mentioned it isn't a bad idea for embarrassing photos etc., but it is being abused. The EU courts passed this, now the EU needs to set up a civilian review committee to...

    Are The British Weather Wussies?

I guess it is what you are used to, here 90's are typical with humidity above 80%. It just seems strange to see warnings for temps in the 80's, especially since our warnings don't start till triple digits.

Poll: Obama 'worst president' since World War II

Oh I got the point about Georges. :) But it also illustrated a point about popular opinion and actual historians. You just described nearly every president we have had since Truman, maybe even before that. That doesn't make it right of course, it just illustrates that our system of government is rather flawed. As to Iraq, we had that war won much the way we had Vietnam won when we pulled out in the 70's...
