J Mascis - Dinosaur Jr is in my opinion the best giutar payer I've heard since Zappa.
Almost every song he's done has an incredible solo.

That, my friend, is the great work of the one and only John Sykes (he actually wrote most of that whole album - before being fired by Coverdale just before the Tour. The guitarist in the music video playing Sykes' parts is another great - Adrian Vandenberg ....) ....anyhoo, Sykes is an epic hook writer. If you haven't already, check out Blue ******, the band he formed post-WS.


The track 'Riot' is astounding.
