"All that is good/all that is beautiful"? WTF? Is one of those posts were you get to "educate" people on the origins when they pretend to be outraged over the symbol?

Okay -- I'll bite out of genuine curiosity. I know it's a symbol that originated in ancient India and is commonplace in Hindu works/documents, but why exactly do you find it "beautiful"?
It was a symbol of peace between all the religions in ancient times. Americans used it until the 30's. Boy scouts used it as their symbol until the early 30s. It's a sign of luck + peace and has other things wrapped into it. The swastikas were an ice hockey team in canada. One man changed the entire symbol. Many countries flew the flag before the **** regime.
for 1000's of years it was used as good, but 10+ years changed that quickly.
Hitler knew it was a peaceful symbol and it pissed him off. He used it to help him gain power.
It is nothing more than another symbol that might have peaceful origins turn symbol of **** and a past of world hatred and evil.

The madame lady was Savitri Devi and she was a new age nut job. People think that new age mysticism bullshit came around in the 60s...but that's not the case at all. L Ron Hubbard couldn't hold a candle to that lunacy.
It's a symbol nothing more and as a symbol its meaning is as eligible to the same level of subjectivity that all symbols are. There was a time when it may have been a symbol of peace, now it isn't. That's just how it goes and attempting to redress the balance would just be an exercise in futility. Recent history has created a new meaning for this particular symbol in the minds of many and until that can be changed (which isn't going to be able to happen for a while) the swastika will continue to represent what we associate with it.
Do I believe it to be beautiful? In a purely aesthetic sense, not particularly. But then again whether or not I believe it to be beautiful or not means absolutely nothing.

Hitler had a deep-seeded hatred for Jews due to the fact he believes Dr. Eduard Bloche led to his ******'s death. On Hitler's ****** side there is rampant psychological problems of every kind running through that heredity.
