The One and Only Big *****
Utah wrapped up the NC. Please man. Utah played an overrated Alabama team that never desvered to be in a bowl game in the first place.

USC, Florida and Oklahoma would destroy Utah. Probably Texas and OSU as well. Undefeated DOES NOT mean National Champ.

Go ***** some more.

And to everybody that thought OSU would lose by 30 points again. You need a helmet and don't know **** about NCAA Football. It took an amazing drive by Texas to win the game...barely. OSU isn't some pushover like all of you SEC, PAC 10, BIG 12 elitists seems to think.

I almost said you were making some good pointsand then youhad to bad month ever other conference. My friend you have a lot to learn about college football. The way I see it and I'm not the only onethe Big 10 really con't carry it own weigh.Hell I even said OSU would lose big but they did not have they gave the game away until Ohio State and the Big 10 gets there act together they need to be talked about.Maildude no harm intended to you State played Georgia tough.

Ohio State is an NFL Factory. They spend $100million a year on athletics. I don't really cry for them. If they continue to lose big games...well, I'll simply continue to enjoy that.

I really like Purdue with Joe Tiller. They pass the ball around and are fun to watch. They've had some top defensive talent too. But they just couldn't knock off Meatchicken or the Luckeyes.

I think the worst football conference year in and year out is the Big East. We need to assess whether or not the Big East deserves a slot in the BCS when we don't hand the MWC a spot. The MWC might actually be a better conference than most people think. The ACC was awful this year but Miami, Florida State, North Carolina, BC, VTech...these teams should get back to the Top 15...

Except against Ohio State. What a bore that was. I had money on the game so I had to watch. That may have had to do with Purdue being intimidated though.

I`m not bad mouthin every conference. I`m bad mouthing their fans who think that the Big 10 is a highschool conference.

If OSu is so garbage, you are takin away from the fact that Florida, LSU, and Texas have been terrific teams these past few years.

Okay then what is the deal we all feel that Ohio State is not getting the job done you should like a OSU homer you talk about the conference you talk about the fans, but that is cool the truth is the truth you match up the Big 10 against those conferences you spoke about and see how well they do.And speaking for everyone in here we don't think it is a high school conference. The Big 10 needs to get there stuff together when it is time to show up they stay at home.

Oh that is cute what is your point Ohio State lost a game they should have won and you are acting like a little *** being picked on. When you have something intresting to say about college football let me know.

Tressel deserves a lot of credit for having a game plan to damn near win. Great game for McCoy, but an equally great performance from the Buckeye D. Wells had a good game as well with over 100 yards rushing. Maybe if the Longhorns had a legit rushing ****** they'd be national champions.

I dunno about that. I mean, Alabama was unbeaten until the SEC championship game. It can be argued that they maybe never should have been ranked #1, but to state that they didn't deserve a bowl game is going a bit far. Even in "the old days" (before there were seemingly 5 billion bowl games) a 12 - 1 record would have gotten you a bowl bid, no questions asked.

USC, Florida and Oklahoma would destroy Utah. Probably Texas and OSU as well. Undefeated DOES NOT mean National Champ.
If an unbeaten record is all a team needs to win the national championship, then why would there ever need to be a vote on the matter? Just look at which team has the best record and give them the national championship automatically. For that matter, if best record is all that matters, why bother playing any "high profile" out-of-conference games? Just pad your non-conference schedule with pansies, or PLAY in a pansy conference such as the WAC, and you don't ever need to worry about actually competing for anything - at least according to some people who've been posting to this thread. So I agree with you on this point.

That's kinda been my sentiment about the Buckeyes all along. Yeah, they lost, but it sure as hell wasn't the blowout that SOME contributors to this forum were suggesting it would be!

The winner of the National Championship game gets the national title. There is no votes for it. WTF are you talkin about???
AP vote. Coach Brown said after that game that he'd be voting his Longhorns #1, which I think goes against the rules. I thought the coaches' votes were tied to the winner of the "official" BCS Championship Game? Anyway, the AP broke away from the BCS a few years ago so sportswriters are free to vote for whichever team(s) they choose to as the national champion. Since Utah is unbeaten (which is enough for them to be crowned national champions, according to some people), and since Texas beat one of the teams that is appearing in the BCS Championship Game, my guess is that there will not be a consensus vote for the #1 football team in the "FBS" this year, at least not amongst the sportswriters. Kinda defeats the purpose of the whole BCS system, doesn't it?

So by your logic, Hawaii should have been in the NC game last year.

Playoffs are the way to go. There isn't a top team, until you beat the other top teams.
Or at least more of them than teams like Boise State's ever do. I agree with you on this 100%.

And I'm not talking ****, I'm talking the truth clown. I`m not even an OSU fan. But fags were ready to give the game to Texas before the opening kickoff.
Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Thank you. Texas won that game, but the Buckeyes made them WORK for it, didn't they?

The Luckeyes? LMAO

Texas had a lucky charm stuck up their ass the whole game.
Well, Texas has a heck of a good team. I don't think any rational person who actually follows college football would deny that. But unlike what SOME people were thinking it would be, that game was no runaway for the Longhorns. How the game ended up going was pretty much how I thought that game would go all along, but I didn't want to comment on that until after the game.
