I'm happy that Texas beat Ohio State but would Mack Brown and Colt McCoy please shut the hell up!

YOU ARE NOT A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM!!! BCS OR AP!

If you're going to tell Brown and McCoy to shut up, then include Pete Carroll, OK? Let's be fair.

Again, just further evidence of what a fucked-up way we have of determining a champion.

We will fucking see.. Ha.. That offense of OU broke all those records this year didn't they? I wonder why? Maybe because they play against some of the worst defenses? Thurs. night that record breaking offense will be going up against a SEC defense. The SEC owns at the big D. Florida has already faced the top 3 line backers.. lol... sound farmiliar? Our players don't need that trash talk. Super Man just laughs it off. Cause he knows he will dawn his cape. Urban Meyer and his coaches are deadly when given alot of time to prepare. GO GATORS

Florida may well indeed win the game but pregame hype and smack doesn't mean much my friend. The win has to be earned on the field. I'm not sure how old you are or if you remember this game but in 1987, the Miami Hurricanes fielded perhaps the finest collection of talent ever assembled in college football. They were prohibitively favored to defeat an unappreciated and discounted Penn State team in the national championship game. No one gave Penn State a chance against the mighty Hurricanes of Jimmy Johnson.

Imagine the shock in the NCAA world when this took place:

We'll see what happens on Thursday. It's put up or shut up time for everyone, including posters on this forum. Plaudits to the eventual winner but for now it's strap it on and let's go boys. May the better team win.

Based on the replay it looked like the Buckeyes were cheating up a bit on that play, apparently anticipating a run. They took a bit of a ****** there and it didn't pay off...except for Texas. I still commend the Buckeyes for not laying down as they did two years ago against Florida and for not getting whupped the way they did last year against LSU. Texas has a fine team, no question about it, but since this game was so close I wonder how many first place votes, if any, they can expect to get Thursday night/Friday morning? My guess - not enough to get them the official national title, no matter what Coach Brown thinks.

Too think they would not have a saftey or linebacker on the Longhorns best reciever, that total break down cost the game.

Anyway it was a fine game! I am so happy the Buckeyes played it very close and proved they can play with one of the best teams.

GO BUCKS!
