Should there just be a "Mass shooting in the US" sticky thread?

It's going to be interesting to see how Putin deals with the issue. He says he will come down hard after the shooting this week, and I don't see any reason to doubt him. I'm sure he'd love to take weapons away to prevent any possible uprisings.

I'd love to see what the Russian version of the the NRA would do - as in, would they dare challenge him?

The gunman suspected in the fatal shooting at a San Jose, Calif., rail yard this week had a cache of weapons and ammunition at his home before it was set on fire, according to local authorities. The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that *************** found 12 firearms and roughly 22,000 rounds of ammunition as well as “multiple” cans of gasoline and Molotov cocktails.

The Second Amendment was created in order to ensure "the people" could resist a tyrannical government. Then, this guy goes out and uses one of his weapons on fellow citizens. How does that work exactly?

Even if you were going on a solo rampage, what makes someone think they need that much ammo/guns? Unless you were planning on bunkering down at your home (in which case police would likely just wait it out), how would they plan on using all that?

Also in this article, it sounds like he remotely set his house on fire?

You've got a 12yr old boy with an AK-47 and and a pyromaniac 14yr old girl with a shotgun firing at police?
Granted, you have to also question the person whose home was broken into and had those guns lying around, but just reading up on these two **** makes it sound like 2nd-rate fiction and not reality.

Watching the video, just imagine being that officer, being shot at by 2 people with only a tree trunk for cover and being told to stand down and not fire back.

I didn't want to post it in case it ******** any rules, but other sites are releasing the ***'s names and photos. And yes, both are white...

Good you guys talking about this here, you understand it's all about these guys being sexually frustrated right? Tbh it fits right in to be talked about on this forum.
 
I **** to "go there", but you have to compare this to Tamir Rice, who was literally the same age.

On the lighter(?) side, did you notice on the video, when the police were closing in, one of them shouts "Light her up!! ... with a light, with a light"

Austin has sure changed a lot since I lived there in the mid 1990s. We still go a time or two a year. I think we go to eat more than anything. Kerbey Lane and Terry Black BBQ. Nothing like a real Tex-Mex Breakfast then some real Texas BBQ. These mass shootings are making me hungry.
