Wow. Absolutely ******. On ******'s Day at a birthday party. Just amazing how demented people can be. Imagine the survivors especially the **** there, the neighbors, the cops and paramedics on the scene. I just got back home taking 2 great ******* out to dinner and getting them both *****. This story is quite a contrast.

Premium Link UpgradeI know it's not "technically" a mass shooting (or even in the US), but proportionately speaking with Canada's shooting numbers, I thought this was worth mentioning because of how messed up it was. Plus the suspects were shooting at police and got away which raises a whole bunch of other questions.

Maybe? I have read occasional articles about research trying to do that but nothing concrete.
I recall Bond was quipping it wasn't as crazy as past gadgets, and Q was like "we don't do that anymore".
Realistically though, we know how iffy unlocking your phone with your fingerprint can be; would you want that same system to be used on something that you could be using to defend your life with?

Although I appreciate the quality and creativity you guys are bringing to the discussion, the fact remains - most users of guns are either the owner or associated with the firearm in some manner. The biometrics still won't stop many shootings. Some of the accidental ones? Sure.
I am fatalistic about the whole situation: there is no solution. The proverbial genie is out of the bottle and she's not going back in.
