The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
I think Mickie has some heat on her backstage for her weight and botching matches (also might be why she's going to Smackdown where she won't be top diva anymore and under Michelle McCool), which is why she lost to Jillian. Otherwise they could have put Melina up against Mickie for the title but hey although it was short, Jillian has title reign under her belt now.:glugglug:

Even though they are PG, WWE can't stand the idea of having a woman in their Divas division. Christ. They need to watch Mickie's feud with Trish again. She is the best female wrestler in the business.

Although Mickie was good, she along with a couple of other Divas have been botching a good number of their matches lately. Including the one last night between Mickie and Jillian. I think Jillian was more at fault for that one though.

I would argue that the reason they botch so much is because they are not wrestling girls who have been through enough training. There is a huge gap talent-wise between Mickie and Jillian. Argurably the only women who can wrestle in WWE anymore are Mickie, Beth, Gail, and maybe Melina.

They need to get Finlay back in charge of these women asap.

I can agree with Finlay being back in charge of the women's division but I'll trade Mickie for Natalya. As much as I like Mickie she just hasn't been very good lately (she's still good though) and Natalya can out wrestle every woman on the WWE roster.

Right on the head. I mean there's absolutely no reason for Natalya not to be in the title picture. Goodness the women's division needs to be reconstructed, there needs to be a women's draft from all three brands and from FCW.
RAW: Beth Phoenix, Melina, Alicia Fox, Katie Lea, Gail Kim, Bella Twins
Smackdown: Maria, Layla, Eve, Michelle McCool, Natalya, Kelly Kelly,Mickie
ECW: Jillian, Maryse, Rosa Mendes

In the mean time, they could stand to bring up that Serena Deeb girl, she been in the ovw/fcw forever. It's her time

Why does ECW even need a women's division? When exactly do they wrestle? I'd much rather see them unify the divisions so the gals can go to any show and contest the titles there. Maybe form a tag team or two a la TNA. The division itself is a joke right now and has been for some time. The missed spots are getting sickening, and it's probably only a matter of time before someone winds up hurt. They need to farm out a few of these divas to tighten up their work (yes, bring Finlay back) and try to create interest by putting those that can wrestle out there on both major shows. You could probably get a few weeks out of just the 'unification' story. It would beat what they have going on now...

That's actually a really good idea. For the life of me I can't figure out why there are divas on ECW. They don't do anything. Get Katie Lea and Rosa Mendes off of ECW and put them on one of the other two shows or they can call up more women (when they're ready) from FCW and put them on ECW there by balancing it out a little. You could have some kind of three brand war between the divas. You know, I might end up buying SVR 2010 after all and do just that.

Mickie James In WWE Dog House Due To Weight Issues?
by Matt Boone
Oct 14, 2009

WWE officials are said to be down on WWE Diva Mickie James presently. According to reports, the main focus with Mickie right now are her weight gain and work rate in the ring
. While there's no doubt Mickie James is an attractive lady and in good shape, she is held to a high standard as a WWE Diva. She has put on some weight, most visibly in her abs/lower body, which hasn't gone unnoticed.

In addition to that, the feeling is the quality of her matches has been slipping as of late as well. Apparently she isn't seen as the "reliable hand" that she once was.

Mickie James Upset at Raw, Mad About Trade to Smackdown
by Nick Paglino
Oct 14, 2009

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Mickie James was upset last night with the way her title loss to Jillian went down on Raw. Additionally, Mickie was said to be upset with the fact that she had to move to the Smackdown brand and in general is said to be unhappy with the way creative has been booking her lately.

Oooo a brand war! Now you're talking. Most WWE fans don't seem to care about the brands as far as loyalty goes (strange, they go where the good wrestling is...) but since WWE's bought totally into it, we might as well. A diva brand war would give us something to care about for a time, as well as pushing the requisite T and A (so short in supply these days) to the fore. Batter up, it beats what they've done lately.

I wonder if they know about her past porn career. :D

I like Mickie's curves, but that's just me. But, to me the real prob is she has been blowing her spots, a lot as of late. Remember that match she had w/ Gail Kim, a while back? terrible.
But, even more terrible is having her job to Jillian. Clearly she was being punished.

when, Mickie blows her spots, Jillian gets the belt, Gail is a jobber, etc, you know the women's division in WWE is in worse shape than ever!

First off R.I.P. to Capt Lou Albano, he was a huge part of WWF and wrestling period being put on the map in the 80's (I also loved him as Mario on Mario Bros Super Show).

Second, yeah I agree with you guys. I mean I for one don't want to see the women's division destroyed. I like sexy women (I'm on this site for goodness sakes) but I want to see them excel and keep the integrity in the ring. Yes pro wrestling is staged, but it also is hard physical work (kinda like porn), so I don't wanna see diva's half assing their matches or the writers not giving them anything more to do than be apart of the guest host entourage. WWE needs to really start thinking what's best for the performers and fans and not just for themselves, it will make things better for all.

What's sad is when you compare the women's division to a few years ago when Trish and Lita were around. Hell, even a year ago when Candice was on top was pretty good.

Mickie's in ring action has dropped. She has not been very good all summer, and the WWE officials weren't happy with her behavior IN the match itself, where she was clearly showing frustration.

Cheer up, Mickie. You're on a show with Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Have some fantastic matches!

The following has been posted on WWE.com:

It is with great sadness that I announce my resignation from the WWE effective January 1, 2010.

I have never even considered a future outside the walls of the WWE. However, sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and while it is the most difficult decision I have ever made, it is time for me to move on.

First and foremost, I would like to thank my father for the incredible education working with him has provided and for giving me the opportunity to play a role in building WWE into the global phenomenon that it is today. I am extremely proud to have been the 4th generation in this business, and I am grateful for everyday I was able to work along side not only my own, but the entire WWE family.

Thank you to all of the WWE Superstars
both past and present for your passion, pride and dedication. You are truly the engine of the organization and it has been a pleasure to work with, learn from and get to know all of you. Thank you for the privilege of sharing the stage with you and for allowing me to become but a momentary member of your elite brotherhood. I have so much appreciation for the many sacrifices you endure, both physically and personally, to make this business the success that it is. The respect I have for each of you is immeasurable.

Finally, there are no words to express my gratitude to WWE fans the world over for supporting this company through good times and bad and for your unbridled passion that fuels the Superstars’ performances. I am profoundly grateful to have been able to entertain you both in front of the camera and from behind the scenes
. You are the greatest fans in the world.

I will always love this business and will remain a fan forever.

Shane

Well I guess it doesn't really matter considering that the company will go to Stephanie and Triple H.

Possible Reason Shane McMahon Resigned From WWE
by Matt Boone
Oct 16, 2009

Apparently Shane McMahon's resignation from WWE was quite the unexpected piece of news to those in the company. According to reports, there was no notice to anyone, not even those who work directly for McMahon.

There is still no definitive word as to why McMahon resigned, although PWInsider.com reports that it may have something to do with Shane going to work with his mother Linda in her bid to become Senator of Connecticut.

Report: Reason Why Jeff Hardy Was Raided By The Police
by Matt Boone
Oct 16, 2009

The following is an excerpt from an exclusive article on ProWrestling.net:

The story making the rounds in the WWE locker room regarding Jeff Hardy's explanation for his legal troubles is that he was arrested when police conducted a raid after a package was sent to his home that had been flagged before it was delivered. Apparently, Hardy brought the package inside and police officials were on the scene to conduct the raid.

The story goes that Hardy did not know what the package contained and that it was sent to him by someone from outside North Carolina who had expressed interest in doing business with him.
