I thought that was common knowledge for a lot of wrestling fans. :dunno: Most everyone that I know knew about the whole Matt Hardy/Edge/Lita drama while it was happening.

i am not that big of a fan

That's because WWE hooked me when I was about 4 years old. Ever since then I've been fan of all wrestling whether it's WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, and Independents. I do like to know what's going on backstage and whatnot because sometimes that's more interesting than anything they show on the tv broadcasts.

I've been a fan of wrestling all my life too. I grew up watching Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, the Von Erichs, King Kong Brody, etc.

i didnt start watching wrestling until 2001

Damn shame about Cade. He wasn't one of my personal favourites but he was a good worker both in the ring and on the mic. Not too long ago he and Murdoch along with Londrick were the only decent tag-teams in the entire WWE.

On the TNA side it seems both Karen Angle and Johnny Devine have also been released.

Yeah I posted Johnny Devine's release in the TNA thread. I figured that I should start posting more TNA news there rather than here since this is primarily WWE. I pretty much figured that Karen Angle was gone as soon as she divorced Kurt. What WWE never should have done was basically get rid of their Tag Team division. 9 times out of 10 once your split up, one or both members will get released because Creative "can't find something for them". Pretty much all you have on RAW: DiBiase & Rhodes and Cryme Tyme, Smackdown: Hawkins & Ryder and Carlito & Primo, and ECW: The Miz and Morrison. You can't count The Hardys or DX anymore because they're just team ups now. They should have maybe two more teams on each show that focus on just the Tag Team division and make the Tag Team Championships a more prominent title. Pretty much look at TNA. If you are going to split teams up then they should bring in new teams to replace them.

what about jessie and festus?

what about jessie and festus?

I completely forgot about them.

According to JR, Lance Cade was fired for making a major mistake and using bad judgment. Then he gives some reason for Lance Cade being on an airplane and have a seizure and Lilian, who was also on the plane being instrumental in getting him to the hospital only to get to the hospital and finding out after tests were done that there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. JR says that the rumor that Cade botched some matches featuring him and Jericho vs. DX are not the reasons for Cade's dismissal.

This entry made no sense to me. Is it implying that he faked the seizure? Otherwise how is he to blame for it?

Honestly the entry made no sense to me either when I read it. I read two different entry's to make sure that is what I read and then I went with it. JR's just being cryptic. It can be read that he faked a seizure but there really is no confirmation. All you can do is make your own conclusions. I personally think it has more to do with a match between Jericho, Michaels, and Triple H but they are saying that wasn't the case.:dunno: The truth will come out eventually.

JR has further commented on the Lance Cade termination. Here is his quote:
"Lance Cade had his WWE contract terminated a few days ago which completely caught me off guard. As I wrote a few days ago, I was and still am a fan of Lance’s and was shocked when I heard news of his dismissal. I feel confident that Lance will rebound from this misstep and find the success that many feel he deserves. Nonetheless, for some to compare Lance’s incident where he had a seizure on an airplane that necessitated an emergency trip to a hospital with Jeff Hardy being asked to leave a plane because it was perceived that he was allegedly intoxicated seems like a stretch to me. Neither individual was on the right side of the equation of their respective issues but Lance, unfortunately, came too close for comfort by incurring a life threatening seizure and put the WWE in a position to make a really tough call. Could this matter have been handled better? I have no idea as I was not in the loop, thankfully, but I do feel that at some point in the future, and this is simply my opinion, after enough water has gone under the bridge that both parties could well do business again with each other."

I'm assuming that Lance Cade did something that caused his seizure that WWE didn't want to take a chance on again, so they released him.
