I like Punk. He is a good wrestler who can put on a good match. However I didn't like his championship run as he was booked to look like a loser champ when he is capable of being so much more.

Come on! While I'm not a fan, you have to admit they're plenty of guys on the roster who suck worse.

He's got decent mic skills, maybe if he was to turn heel...

Obviously there are people who are worse. I think the roster is weak at the moment though, so saying that doesn't really mean much, IMO. The only thing that is saving face for the WWE is HHH, Jericho and HBK. Everybody else is just blah and sooooo not enticing me to watch.

I think a Championship program between CM Punk and Randy Orton is exactly what RAW needs. I thought CM Punk was a pretty good champion and the fans were into it as well. While CM Punk was champion the ratings went up as soon as he lost the title the ratings went back down.

Of course the ratings went up. A cheesy, uninteresting, sub-par wrestler had the belt and that, unfortunately, is what most wrestling fans want to see.

Batista + belt = ratings
Rey Mysterio + belt = ratings
CM Punk + belt = ratings
Undertaker + belt = ratings
John Cena + belt = ratings

But, when the "bad guy" gets the belt, ratings drop because most wrestling fans are sheep and just like what they're told to like. Whatever the WWE markets as being "cool" (which is usually the complete opposite of cool), people immediately become raging fans. They don't realize that when wrestlers like Edge, JBL, Jericho (heel Jericho anyway) or Randy Orton have the belt, wrestling gets soooo much better.

Seriously, think back to when JBL was the champion on Smackdown. There was no better time to watch wrestling in the recent history. But, the ratings were higher when Rey Mysterio was the champion...even though that whole storyline sucked and had no good fueds at all.

I prefer it when a heel is the champ as I feel it makes for a better story with a face chasing the belt as opposed to the face defending against the evil heels.

1. I know he's still new but I would love to see Vladimir Kozlov get a title run.

2. Kizarney. Are you freaking kidding me?

3. Maria should NEVER EVER announce again.

randy orton is a decent wrestler, and cm punk is a lousy wrestler, wwe needs to put orton in better fueds then this.

I'll take HBK any day of the week. Except Tuesday, because that's when I watch House.

I didn't see it, so I couldn't tell you. But, Jericho is one of the 3 wrestlers that I mentioned who are carrying the WWE right now, so who he wrestled and how they did doesn't really matter that much.

if hhh had never married stephanie, he would never have been a 12 time champion, and wrestlers who deserve the belt more than he him, would have been champ

HHH is a perfect champion. Yes, there are others who might "deserve" it at times, but HHH is never a bad choice to go with. I will agree that he needs to not have the belt right now though, but who would take it from him? They would just give it to some piece of crap and not to someone like JBL, who would be a good choice.

Personally, I think that Edge will take the belt back when he returns.

HBK and Jericho's feud has been great. HBK is past his best in terms of his wrestling ability but his promos have been great, and even at what he is now HBK is still up there with the best WWE has right now.
