Considering that Metallica tends to ruin their own songs, I think Avril did a kick ass job.

Holy goddamn. I couldn't disagree more. Her voice irritates the crap out of me. Too weak, girly and bratty sounding for heavy music. Horribly nauseating. The idea of anyone actually liking it makes me want to punch a puppy.
