Worst Band Names

A new music snobbery thread for you guys.

Are there any band names that you hear and think that they just suck? I mean, these guys are trying (and sometimes successful) at becoming rich and famous and these are the best names they can come up with? Here's some off the top of my head:

Godsmack - Seriously, the first time I saw their first album at the music store I was wondering why they were selling an Alice in Chains tribute band's album.

Limp Bizkit - Ooooo look at me, I spell Bizkit with a Z' and that makes me cool.

Korn - See above.

Puddle of Mudd - Why the fuck would you want to name yourself mud?

Stereomud - Why the fuck would you want to name yourself mud?

Monster Magnet - Just silly.

Drowning Pool - If you're going to name yourself after a movie, at least pick one that sounds cool.

Skillet - Fuck it...why not Tupperware or Pots and Pans?

Foo Fighters - Love the band, hate the name. Even Dave Grohl admits to wishing he had used a different name.

Circle Jerks - No...I'm not making it up.

Crazy Town - BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!

3 Days Grace - Ever hear of a band named Third Eye Blind? How about 3 Doors Down? Pick a different number already.

I kinda think Godsmack and Foo fighters are catchy band names. Plus they're unique.

Limp bizkit has an equaly terrible name. As for Korn I suppose they could have come up with a better name but since it has the 'k' and the backwords 'R' then I suppose it's an edgy variation of the word. Worst band names are the long ones that just enumerate words.

Jackle with a "Y" and Haircut 100, oh I might as well list a few more bad hair metal bands. Mr. Big, Firehouse, Stryper, Slaughter. I love how at one time these bands used to be so big and pack stadiums and now they are playing tractor pulls at the state fair and I am over at the concession stand ordered funnel cake and drinking sudwiser.
