If I stand out in front of your house everyday screaming an annoying horrible sound non-stop for 10 hours, yes by all means kill me.
Exactly. This is an example of the problem both here and in the US.
ADults allow their children to dominate them 24/7, and they even will let a straw mongrel do the same if put in that situation.
What I cant believe is that the people in this little area just accept this like "duh" idiots.
Like I said I deal with sporatic outbursts of these nasty little french poodles yapping their sick bark all day. There are six of them within 150 feet of my window.
These dogs dominate their owners. And its my problem? fuck them.
I cant control that but this stray I can.
Cant even kick it to show territory rights and maybe scare it away.
Its too quick.
I'm going to get my haircut now and to the pharmacy to buy some poison, and buy a dog biscuit.
When IT returns tomorrow I will try to feed it to IT.
And If I could call some authoritys to take care of this I would, but they dont have that here.

Seriously...why don't you just adopt the dog? Take it to the vet, make sure he's healthy and then train him to stfu. I have a chihuahua, you CAN get them to stop barking. Do the right thing, don't be an asshole....just adopt it, or try to find someone who can take it in.
The dog is probably barking because he's scared and hungry. Or maybe he's doing his job as a chihuahua, barking to alert you of people coming close to your home. You do know that chihuahuas are alert dogs right? Sounds to me like he likes you. You should take him in...he may scare away people trying to break into your home...or alert you when your home is on fire.....or protect you when I come to kick your ass for even thinking of killing a poor chihuahua.

I would buy a small pet carrier and put a can of dog food in the back of it, then shut him in and take him somewhere else. Is there not a vet in Columbia? Sometimes our vet in my town will take them until they can find them a home.
Yes I do & I also have common sense. Do you feel sorry for a pig when it's killed for it's meat? Do you feel sorry for a deer if it's shot during hunting season?
It's a fact that a pig is more loyal and smarter than a dog, still people don't put any emotional value in such a creature, because they know it's futile.
A deer, if properly tamed & trained, might just be as loyal and fun as a dog, yet nobody has ever tried it. Still, people do not give the animal any emotional value & during hunting season it's okay to shoot these animals & nobody really cares.
When it's a dog, just another animal roaming this planet, bred out of wolves, it's suddenly a sin to kill it. Why? Not because it has ever done anything for you, not because it gives you comfort, but simply because it walks around on 4 legs and barks and shits & pisses on many different inappropriate places...
I care for my cats, but my care & love is limited to those animals. If a stray cat which might be carrying X diseases and could be a danger to the health of my cats or even me, would it dare scratch me, is annoying & I couldn't chase it away, I'd call the animal shelter. If there were no such thing, I'd try to kill the animal!

I also dont belive its scared, it chases and barks at everybody who walks by, and its a busy little street.
Its showing its territory that it has now claimed.
I am a human, this is a stray dog , an animal with a mean disposition.

Or we can let it keep barking and chasing people until it bites someone, a kid perhaps.

thanks sc, but i'm not gonna buy a pet carrier(probably $100.000 here) try to catch the possibly diseased aggressive dog then then take it to a vet in ColOmbia.

Iasked a neighbor last night if there is an animal control number I could call, she had no idea what I was talking about. They dont have that here.
The dog was here earlier barking its head off and chasing people, then it left.

Actually I DO care about animals that are slaughtered for meat. I have huge respect for the animals that I put into my body, and choose to only eat organic, free-range meat as a result. I don't support industries that breed animals in mass productions, abuse and torture just for the sake of putting it on my plate. I only support farms that allow animals to have a healthy, happy life before its respectfully killed. I respect animals greatly. Don't presume that I disrespect certain animals and care about the cute cuddly ones because thats not the truth.

Dogs that bark, are not always mean.
And to be honest, if I knew you IRL, and could trust you, I'd send you the money to trap it and take it to the vet to be checked over, and have it adopted out. Or even sent here. Hell, or even brought into a vet for euthanization. I don't like hearing about any kind of violence or disrespect towards ANY animal.

Look, MP, I feel your frustration. This is no easy situation. I would be going truly nuts by now. The fear of having one's head blown off or being captured then sold for body parts by Colombians to educated people in a more civilised European country would stop me from going outside. Kind of like South Africa. Except they sell you for muti to the locals.
There is such a thing as white noise. That is one alternative; waiting until it becomes white noise. This would take a lot of hair pulling, yelling into your pillow and angry thoughts of murther.
But you'll get there.
Some people killed a dog that bit me once. It was super vicious, a mastiff. So, not much compunction there. It gave me a scar across the nose. The owner was none too happy.
Which is kind of all right, as it makes guys think twice about messing with me, especially when I wear my meanie look as I walk down the street.
So, there is the grin and bear it until it becomes background noise option, and it does become background or white noise*, or, you could do as Ashleigh suggests; taking it in, buying it supper, then muzzling it.
