Arby's is not roast beef. It's some kind of processed beef lips and tongues or whatever that is pressed together and made to look like a roast. It also comes packed in a gel.
Aw, you bastard! I haven't had one of those in over 13 years! Even when I went to Mexico last year I couldn't find any because it wasn't in season, or some bullshit like that. That's one of the things that I miss most that aren't available in the US, along with flor de calabaza, moronga, chiles en nogada, and sesos. Now you got me craving one, and there's no way in hell I can get any. Thanks a lot, buddy. :hatsoff: :thefinger
And I know this place just a couple miles from the border on the Mexican side for some really great seso tacos, I was just there recently but had trompo instead. Too bad that in the border they don't make them like in Mexico City, with a little bit of pineapple.
But at least there's some good tripa tacos again here in the U.S. side of the border. They were taken off the market for a while back during the "mad cow" scare.
