Don't think I've ever had a sub down south. Actually have zero memory of eating anything at all when I went to Florida, and when I went to South CaroLina It was mostly Thanksgiving food. Suppose I'll take your word for it.

It's no secret. I've mentioned it on the board a couple times. Primarily it's Czech on my mother's side- like my great-great-great (not sure how many 'greats') grandfather came from there, back when it was still called Czechoslovakia. And I've got a number of other things mixed in, like German, French, and who knows what else. I'm a mutt, and just consider myself American, but considering that evidently lots of guys think Czech girls are the hottest of all ethnicities, I'll take that
