what was the worst pain you've ever felt?

Fortunately, I have never had any broken bones or the likes...

Most recent memory of bad pain would be when I had a blocked ear that became infected about a year ago. It was as if there was something sharp pressing against my ear drum (moving my jaw made it worse - so eating was not enjoyable). I had to wait 2 weeks to see a specialist, Had to live off a constant dose of of pain killers and ear drops in the mean time.

Funnily enough, a micro vacuum and 30 seconds is all it took by the specialist to relieve me of the pain (and regain my hearing).

^oooh, that sucks! Sorry that happened to you fresno.

I was in dance class one day, and felt an excruciating pain in my abdomen. A few seconds later, I passed out on the floor in a pool of my own blood. I hadn't had a period in 4-5 months, and everything came out at once. The doctor said it might have been a pregnancy gone awry, but since I had irregular periods anyway, I wouldn't have noticed I was pregnant (as flighty as that sounds).

I'm so sorry that happened to you sputnikgirl my friend!

oh and i forgot, because i almost got used to it now.
i'd call it a psychological pain.
i am having tinnitus for 11 years now :(

I have nothing compared to most responses here.

It was either the day after getting my wisdom teeth out and breaking the stiches with my toothbrush, or when I zipped up on my junk lol.

I have gotten burns on my hands before that were horribly painful as well as smashing my finger in a door before, that could well be the worst kind for me.

i jumped off my balcony and broke my ankle and i didnt know it was broken so i tryed to stand up and i broke it again in a different place.

busted my ankle skating, tore all ligaments on top of foot, fucked my achilles
tendon up, then after a week, formed an infection called cellulitis. couldnt
put my leg down or level for another two weeks. this is nothing compared to people i've known in war or other accidents though, so i aint complaining.

Driving a 4wheeler into a brickwall downhill is no fun :( I freaked out and hit the gas and gunned it after running something over and hit my friends house pushing the wall into the dining room. I dented my skull a little and had the yucky stuff from inside your head leaking out. I broke my arm and bent it too. No fun. I'm still scared of 4wheelers but I ride them everychance I get.

Holy shit, I am now uncontrollably in love.

Back on topic. I had ACL surgery and started rehabbing WAY too hard. About a month after the surgery it swell up beyond belief. There was no option but to "drain" it. The pain I felt when he jabbed that foot long needle into the side of my knee was indescribable. Lightheaded, naseau, tears, and then the anastesthia finally kicked in.

i got my finger caught between the moving chain & sprocket on my bike when i was 12.....almost lost the finger....my finger was stuck & i couldnt get it out....very painful.....

tooth infection about a year ago. i thought it would go away so i stayed home and didn't sleep or eat for 4 days, had to keep icewater in my mouth or i would have screamed (put water in, wait til its warm, spit out, put more water in). my bed was surrounded by water bottles, empty and refilled lol. then i went to the dentist and he told me that i was nuts for staying home because the only worse pain is childbirth hahahaha... he gave me antibiotics which i was to take for a week before an operation to take out the tooth, and he gave me ratio oxycocet (painkiller) for a week, too. he told me that i can't get anything stronger than that over the counter, and that if the pain became too bad i could combine it with motrin.

being an idiot i took one R/C right away, and then another two when i got home. i was supposed to take one very six hours... needless to say i passed out and when i woke up the pain was still there... so i took more pills. i finished my supply in two days, and then went for a refill, and then it suddenly hit me that the pills were probably ineffective becausei hadn't eaten anything before taking them... so i ate a few slices of toast before starting on my second batch, and the pain went away... next time i know :)

i have never been drunk or drugged up in my life, but when i was on R/C i was truly high... like a layer of fog between me and reality. i have since found out that it uses the same active ingredient as heroin and that it is a "controlled substance" in most countries, so my dentist helped me to get legally high :)

Two cysts on my ovaries ruptured. Wasn't fun. :/

I had gall stones ( I thought it was the clap, idiot teenager that I was) so bad in college. I was pissing into garbage cans on the sidelines during our bowl game because I couldn't go to and from the locker room every few minutes between series.

After the game we were celebrating in a ballroom and I had to go about every five minutes it seemed. Last time I went to the men's room I felt this lightning like shock going through my schwanz and these two stones just came shooting out. I swear they made a popping sound as they came out and it felt like I'd been given a handjob by Captain Hook. The stones were covered in a purple-green and I was so startled I started peeing everywhere but the toilet bowl. I let out a yelp and when I was finished, a sigh of contentment.

I came out of the rest room stall and a couple of my team mates were looking at me funny and asked if I was all right. I was white as a sheet and drenched with sweat and shaking but I managed to convince them I was okay.

I have never told anyone about that. I feel...relieved. That one moment of sheer terror and pain was worse than any of the broken toes and fingers I've endured.
