A classic that I saw for the first time ever. The Shawshank Redemption. Somehow made it over a quarter century in this life without seeing that. Well....since 1994 anyway

The Shawshank Redemption (1994) is one of my favorite movies, and is my favorite prison movie. Seen it about 5 times.

I just watched Shawshank for my first time, after seeing Dstone quote this at the top of this thread.... and thinking.. Huh, I haven't seen that movie.

Just re-watched Cry-Baby (1990) , probably the only musical movie I like.
Mainly because of the hot Amy Locane, the soundtrack, and Johnny Depp is ok too..
It's a teen movie and a bit cheesy, but I've liked it since the first time I saw it 20 years ago as a young teenager.
