Basket Case. Second time in a week I saw it, because I wasn't sure if the first viewing helped in absorbing the comedy. The second viewing had similar results, so I'm settled on the opinion that it's not so much a horror/comedy film. There's some funny moments for sure, mainly the death scenes, but it's more horror, and very dramatic. The effects are amazing, some stop motion animation I think when the ugly brother of Duane, named Belial, loses his shit in the bedroom. Very low budget, but done so well. Frank Henenlotter, the writer and director, makes a habit out of over the top horror movies with tons of special effects. I love that, and he also shows off New York a lot. In this movie, it focuses more on New York people, the less than pleasant ones, always with the seedy underground in his movies.
As ugly as Belial was, and how evil he turned out to be, I couldn't help but feel bad for him. His screams are just agonizing, and not funny at all. Not annoying too. One woman gets nude, fantastic pair of breasts, lovely feet and toes. Like Brain Damage, the makeup and effects make the film, but this one has stronger overall acting, and Duane stands out. Lots of blood too. A very entertaining movie.
Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F 2015
I saw that a few weeks ago. I loved it! More action than Battle of Gods, but that movie's great too. Some nice comedy, new Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form was incredible. Just a blast to go through DBZ again, I really can't wait for the English dub of the current Super show,
