Boston has a Women's Film Festival thru Sun 10/18 at 11:59PM EST. I did a three-pack of tickets, and saw "Coded Bias." It deals with facial recognition software, and how algorithms impact people's lives. And, how algorithms are COMPLETELY UNREGULATED.

It also touched on the power that nine companies have, six in the U.S. Such as Facebook, Apple, Google, etc. One example was how just ONE change made by Facebook in 2010 influenced over 300,000 additional people to vote:
