Well I liked it anyway.
Great Slovak movie about young people and their complicated lives, set in Bratislava, Slovakia - my hometown. I have seen this movie many times, but was still happy when Netflix recently added it and I could have refreshed it. Great story with elements of crime, drama and comedy. The romantic parts are done in such a way that you simply have to like it, whether you're a man or a woman. The lead actress, Kristina Svarinska, has added a certain level of humanity that is hard to find in real world today.

It's true Paxton was a strange actor you could never quite forget Chet and GAME OVER, MAAAN. The simple plan was a fine film and a good performance from him
Terrifically-acted, especially Paul Walter Hauser's stand-out performance amidst such others of great talent, and Eastwood's solid direction. It's minimal use of a score has been criticized but I think that works to powerful effect when it's absent to the moments it appears.
Its only real criticism, that I often agree with in many other films, is the controversial portrayal of real-life reporter Kathy Scruggs.
